The Fall Feasts give us a picture of the return of Messiah. Not only that, they also call us to prepare ourslves for the coming Kingdom of God. In doing so, our lives are redirected to Him. Beginning with the Feast of Trumpets, which calls us to a time of preparation, there is an annual season of reflection and identification of disobedience in our lives. Following that, the Day of Atonement allows us a time of repentance and recommitment to Him. The Feast of Tabernacles has us celebrate our return to obedience with an annual celebration of the life we will have as He comes in the future to live (tabernacle) with His people.
