Weekly Briefing
Hi
Introduction
Illustration: 1957 by Dr. Curt Richter - Norwegian Rat Experiment .
Wild Norwegian rats were ruthless and extremely great swimmers - but they would drown in minutes.
But, when the researches would lift them from the water tanks, just a few times, the rats would swim for days.
Church that’s the power of hope.
Church that’s the power of hope.
Days.
Hope lifts us up where we belong Christian.
Hope.
For the Christian we have a hope that there is no mountain to high, no river to wide - yes, storm clouds may gather and stars may collide, but in Christ we have hope.
The hope of Heaven.
Of relief.
Of rest.
Of intimacy with God.
Of fulfillment of all of God’s promises.
Of happily ever after.
I don’t presume to know your pain, affliction or loneliness church, but can I tell you this morning that there is no loneliness, no pain, no chronic illness, no disability, no cancer and no disease that won’t be swallowed up in victory and be shown for our good in Christ in Heaven.
If you feel like a rat in bucket of water just treading - on the edge of drowning - would you dream of Heaven with me this morning?
If you have ears to hear - this morning God’s Word will lift us up out of the water to feel the hope of eternity with Him!
