a.
The natural: heterosexual relationship between a married couple.
This is the natural order ordained by the creator of the world.
Sex is for a man and women who are married.
This is how God created us.
It is a picture of God’s relationship with His people.
The heterosexual marriage relationship pictures the joyful and fulfilling relationship between God and His people.
The submitting and surrendering of ourselves in worship to God and the love and sanctification of the Church by God.
But this natural was exchanged for...
b.

So God gives them up to their vile affections and..
The judgement is that they exchange the natural heterosexual marriage relationship (which is a picture of our relationship with God) for a homosexual relationship (which is a picture of worshiping the creature rather than the creator).
Some think that God will judge the world for all of the homosexuality that is going on (and He will in time) but the truth is that homosexuality is itself the judgement of God on the world for worshiping the creature instead of worshiping Him.
And Paul points out that this recompense for our error is meet.
that is the punishment perfectly fits the sin.
So the solution is not for homosexuals to stop being homosexuals.
That may be a desired outcome but not the solution.
The solution is that the world repent and return to their creator and worship Him.
The only hope for homosexuality or any other sin is to elevate God back to His rightful place in our life and worship Him in spirit and in truth.
