Revelation 14:6–7 NIV
Then I saw another angel flying in midair, and he had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth—to every nation, tribe, language and people. He said in a loud voice, “Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water.”
“When the time comes that all the saints… shall… be taken into glory, surely something farther than an individual work [of preparation] is necessary.
“By what means shall the saints… be gathered… and prepared dor translation? What mighty truths has God in reserve for the last generation?”
Revelation 14:8 NIV
A second angel followed and said, “ ‘Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great,’ which made all the nations drink the maddening wine of her adulteries.”
Revealtion 14:6-7
Revelation 14:9–12 NIV
A third angel followed them and said in a loud voice: “If anyone worships the beast and its image and receives its mark on their forehead or on their hand, they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment will rise for ever and ever. There will be no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and its image, or for anyone who receives the mark of its name.” This calls for patient endurance on the part of the people of God who keep his commands and remain faithful to Jesus.
Rev 14:
Spiritual Gifts, Volume 1 Chapter 28: The Third Angel’s Message

These messages were represented to me as an anchor to hold the body. And as individuals receive and understand them, they are shielded against the many delusions of Satan.

Testimonies for the Church, Volume 9 Chapter 2—Called to Be Witnesses

In a special sense Seventh-day Adventists have been set in the world as watchmen and light bearers. To them has been entrusted the last warning for a perishing world. On them is shining wonderful light from the word of God. They have been given a work of the most solemn import—the proclamation of the first, second, and third angels’ messages. There is no other work of so great importance. They are to allow nothing else to absorb their attention.

Babylon Can’t Be:

Rome because Jesus calls His people out of it prior to its destruction.
Rome because Jesus calls His people out of it prior to its destruction.
Rome’s loss of civil power because her fall is the result of her gaining civil power.

What Does Babylon Represent?

The unlawful unity between God’s people and the world.

The unlawful unity between God’s people and the world.

Ezekiel 16:6 NIV
“ ‘Then I passed by and saw you kicking about in your blood, and as you lay there in your blood I said to you, “Live!”
Ezek. 16:
Ezekiel 16:8 NIV
“ ‘Later I passed by, and when I looked at you and saw that you were old enough for love, I spread the corner of my garment over you and covered your naked body. I gave you my solemn oath and entered into a covenant with you, declares the Sovereign Lord, and you became mine.
Ezekiel 16:7 NIV
I made you grow like a plant of the field. You grew and developed and entered puberty. Your breasts had formed and your hair had grown, yet you were stark naked.
Ezekiel 16:13–14 NIV
So you were adorned with gold and silver; your clothes were of fine linen and costly fabric and embroidered cloth. Your food was honey, olive oil and the finest flour. You became very beautiful and rose to be a queen. And your fame spread among the nations on account of your beauty, because the splendor I had given you made your beauty perfect, declares the Sovereign Lord.
Ezekiel 16:15 NIV
“ ‘But you trusted in your beauty and used your fame to become a prostitute. You lavished your favors on anyone who passed by and your beauty became his.
Ezek 16
Ezekiel 16:32–33 NIV
“ ‘You adulterous wife! You prefer strangers to your own husband! All prostitutes receive gifts, but you give gifts to all your lovers, bribing them to come to you from everywhere for your illicit favors.
Ezekiel 16:32–35 NIV
32 “ ‘You adulterous wife! You prefer strangers to your own husband! 33 All prostitutes receive gifts, but you give gifts to all your lovers, bribing them to come to you from everywhere for your illicit favors. 34 So in your prostitution you are the opposite of others; no one runs after you for your favors. You are the very opposite, for you give payment and none is given to you. 35 “ ‘Therefore, you prostitute, hear the word of the Lord!

Ultimately, Babylon’s fall is God rejecting her and her promulgation of false doctrines.

Ezek 16:32-33
False Doctrines:
Jesus’ Second Coming
Man’s Mortality
The Sabbath Rest
Everlasting Gospel

Babylon’s rejection was due to her fabrication of self-preservation

Are you developing a character of self-preservation or character of dependence to Christ?

What will your choice be?
