Depression, despair, distraction, darkness, doubt, disbelief, discouragement, - bring us down..
doubt leads to discouragement, which leads to distraction which leads to a lack of dilligence, which leads to disobidence which leads to disbelief.
I have a pretty stressful job… as of lately it seems like it is a regular thing for people to mis understand me and yell
I noticed that it was easier for me to go on youtube and watch something funny
or to watch some show on Netflix
or play some game
shoot I even was playing fortinte
Now while this helped me forget it never removed the problems, and hurts I was really facing...
If you relate with me at all and I think you do you need to be aware of the Six Destructive Ds—doubt, discouragement, distraction, lack of diligence, disobedience, and disbelief
doubt (explain it - doubt is leads to discouragement, which leads to distraction which leads to a lack of diligence, which leads to disobedience which leads to disbelief.
I want Joy
but I joy comes only from God...
but we go to video games to cover the hurt, and worry.
we go to movies, tv, or Youtube help us forget the reality of your situation
some use drugs or alchohal to hide whats really going on
Imagine what it is like for God who wants to remove your what brings you down and bring you joy...
It is like we are severely sick and while the doctor is right beside you with the medicine to heal you … but you are laying in bed complaining about you issues, or doing something to make you forget your sick
How frustrated would you be if you were the doctor!
We do not read in the Word that God is frustrated with you
Instead God wants to give us joy.
John 15:9–11 NKJV
“As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love. If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. “These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.
What are God’s commandments?
Matthew 22:36–40 NKJV
“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?” Jesus said to him, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”
Love God with all your heart with all your heart, soul, and mind, and to love others...
If you have had any relationship with God you know that you were the most joyful when you were loving God, and loving others!
We were created to love God! We were not originally created for most of the things we are living for....
if you do what you were created to do you will feel content!
Kinda like
Now you know! If you continue to cover up or complain about how down you are while you know that joy is received by loving God and others
