Good Gardening Techniques

All ground is “Good Ground”

That has to be “Tilled” to a “Receptive State” for the Seed, the Word of God!

And though not every Christian have a “Natural Green Thumb”, every Christian does have a “Spiritual Green Thumb” by virtue of becoming a Christian!

That same “Gardening Technique” that brought you “Eternal Life” must be practiced on all the areas of our lives!

What were those “Techniques?

Talk about how we received , ,

There is “Seed” that’s “Universal” to ALL ground!

Examples; , etc.....

But there is “Seed” that’s “Specific” to certain ground

Depending on a “Specific Yield” of that ground

Example....Calling to Ministry........

And depending upon the effect that sin, the devil and the world has had on that ground!

Talk about the Devil’s deceptiveness against us

Example.........Calling to Ministry.......etc...

Example.........Calling to Ministry.......etc...

Talk about sin’s affinity against God’s Word

And the effect that sin, the devil and the world has on that ground

And the effect that sin, the devil and the world has on that ground
Talk about the flesh’s desire to get all that it can get while it exists!
Talk about the “Alternative Lifestyle” of “Wordliness
Examples......bringing the body under subjection
turn the other cheek!

Therefore “Good Gardening” starts with full faith in the Sower, Jesus Christ

Your Saviiour

And the ““Infallibility” of the “Seed”

The Word of God brought everything into existence. it is perfect. it is true.

As well as the “Exclusivity” of the “Seed!

Only the Word can produce all that God has for us.
Leviticus 19:19 KJV 1900
Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee.
Romans 10:9–10 KJV 1900
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
mt 4:31
Matthew 4:31-33

The “Increase” of the Seed

Mark 4:31 KJV 1900
It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:
Mark 4:29 KJV 1900
But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he putteth in the sickle, because the harvest is come.
Matthew 4:25 KJV 1900
And there followed him great multitudes of people from Galilee, and from Decapolis, and from Jerusalem, and from Judaea, and from beyond Jordan.
mt 4:

Then we must “Test” our ground to see what kind of ground it is!

Check your response to the “Seed!”
If you have a “Wayside” response to turning the other cheek, there’s some “Wayside” in you that needs “Gardening!”

That section of who you are that has a “Stony” response, to praying for those who despitefully misuse you, need that same “Spiritual Green Thumb’ that produced the fruit of “Salvation” from the “Seed” of
Romans 10:9–10 KJV 1900
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
That section of who you are that ......talk about the “Thorny” Response....

Then “Till” ground that need to be tilled!

And we “Till” by;
Matthew 13:23 KJV 1900
But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
Mt 13:

Tilling the “Stony” is soaking it with the water of the Word until it becomes soft enough for the Word to take deep root. and we do that by “Turning the other cheek!” etc..........

Matthew 13:20–21 KJV 1900
But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.
Mt 13:20-21

Tilling the “Thorny” is “Weeding” the “Thorns” out of who we are. and we “Weed” by not letting anything about this life prevent the “Seed” from producing the “Corresponding” fruit in our lives!

Tilling the Wayside
Matthew 13:22 KJV 1900
He also that received seed among the thorns is he that heareth the word; and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, and he becometh unfruitful.
Mt 13:

Tilling the Wayside is “accepting by hearing”. We have to accept the Word simply because it is the Word.

Matthew 13:19 KJV 1900
When any one heareth the word of the kingdom, and understandeth it not, then cometh the wicked one, and catcheth away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.
Matthew 13:19
Too many of us have to understand “How” the Word works before we accept it for our lives.
The wayside is the “Road” or “Footpath” where any seed is trampled.

But when we properly “Till” our “Wayside”; our ‘Thorny’; our ‘Stony’ it becomes “Fertile”, “Producing” ground for God!

Matthew 13:23 KJV 1900
But he that received seed into the good ground is he that heareth the word, and understandeth it; which also beareth fruit, and bringeth forth, some an hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.
Mt:

The Seed must be specific to the
