What is grace?
(LDS.org
Definition)
Grace is divine help and strength that we receive through the Atonement of Jesus Christ.
Through grace, we are saved from sin and death.
In addition, grace is an enabling power that strengthens us from day to day and helps us endure to the end.
Effort is required on our part to receive the fulness of the Lord’s grace.
2 Nephi 25:23 (Book of Mormon)
For we labor diligently to write, to persuade our children, and also our brethren, to believe in Christ, and to be reconciled to God; for we know that it is by grace that we are saved, after all we can do.
Moroni 10:32 (Book of Mormon)
Yea, come unto Christ, and be perfected in him, and deny yourselves of all ungodliness; and if ye shall deny yourselves of all ungodliness, and love God with all your might, mind and strength, then is his grace sufficient for you, that by his grace ye may be perfect in Christ; and if by the grace of God ye are perfect in Christ, ye can in nowise deny the power of God.
“You contribute nothing to your salvation except the sin that made it necessary.”
“Grace” is the gap between the depth of our sin and the height of God’s holiness.
Through Faith
For Work
Workmanship = we are God’s “work” or “creation”
In Christ Jesus = our position before God is in Christ.

For good works = We were not only saved FROM the wrath of God, we were also saved TO the works of God.
Redemption
God is on a mission to redeem a rebellious people.
Creation - Fall - Promise - Redemption - Gospel
Questions for Reflection:
Do I trust fully and only on the grace of God for my salvation?
Do I see my salvation as being FOR work, not only FROM wrath?
As a disciple of Christ, am I ready and willing to commit 100% of my life to make disciples and plant churches?
