Happy Veterans Day
At the beginning of the year, I set out to try and preach through the scriptures, and after I don’t know about June and we were still in the book of genesis, I decided that we were not going to make it.
But the reason I believe the Bible is the Word of god and not the Word of men is because from begining to the end God tels us how things were in the very begining, Hold God made Holy Man, who bore the image and the likness of the Almighty.
The Earth was new and pristine, the creation unblemished, every creature walking in the glory of the one that had made it.
But in the begining chapter we are introduced to an enemy, the same enemy that is alive and well today.
Satan who dooped and decieved the man and woman, they fell into sin.
And then and there when sin entered the world and the curse that Adam ushered in changed the DNA of all of creation.
Can you imagine the first day after the fall and Adam and Eve watced as animals began to stalk and prey one another.
Dogs that seemed domesticated the day before are now wild with the taste of blood on their lips.
Lions, Tigers and bears now all hunting.
And not far afterwards their own sons, One will kill another....
Then we saw mankind multiply, no longer bearing the image of God, but bearing the image of Adam.
Thew one time perfect prototype, but now crippled spiritually by the tsunami of sin, noe replicates men and women with that same flaw of sin.
And the Earths grows so vile and wicked, men are now living like animals, giving in to instict and what comes naturally.
Years go by, hundreds of years go by, and men multiply, they are seduced by demons to worship false Gods, but God has a plan.... and throughout scripture, He promises to bring a saviour, a deliverer.
Throughout scripture in the vile and corruption and the heavy toll sin is taking on his creation, there is a Scarlet Thread of redemtion.... a blood sacrifice… We frst see it when God covers the nakedness of Adam and Eve with an animal skin.
We see it with Able, as He offered up a spotless lamb, butCain offered up the fruit of the ground… Able was recieved, Cain rejected… Not only do we see the scrarlet thread of Blood redemption,
We see this scarlet thread in the Exodus of of Egypt, when God told the hebrews to take a spotless lamb and place it on the lintel of their door posts, adn when the Angel of Death passed through the land of egypt those who had the blood covering their homes would be saved....
We see the scarlet thread of redemption in the Tabernacle, and fianlly in the Temple in Jerusalem.
When the God would command that blood sacrifices would be inacted in the Temple.
On the Day of Judgment, Lamb, goats and Bulls would be sacrificed for the cleansing of the peoples sins, for the redemption of their souls,
But it was all a Shadow of the One that was to Come.
The Messiah, the Saviour the Lord jesus Christ would embody all of those sacrifices.
He would be the one whom John the Baptist would cry out and say behold the Lamb of the God that takes away the sin of the world....
And this spotless lamb, this perfect man, This God- man would humble himself to die in the place of us. he would take the sins of the World upon himself, He would be raveged by the Wrath of a Holy God, and as the scriptures say.
He who knew no sin would become sin, so that we might become the righteousness of God.
And as We seen last week… In There is coming a day blazing and burning fiercly like the Sun.
When everything we know will come to an end.
When the Kingdoms of the World will become the Kingdoms of The Lord Jesus Christ.
They end is not coming with a great earthquake, or tsunami.
It is not coming when all of the stars align… It is coming when the Almighty God, the Father of Heaven looks at His Son and says it is time!!
You say well what qualifies Jesus, Who is Worthy?
WE SEE A SCARLET THREAD OF REDEMPTION- A BLOOD SACRIFICE

4- God chooses a nation to reveal Himself- Gives them a tabernacle, and eventually would be a bring and mortor Temple
Illustration- Ivan Pavilov- in late 1800’s researched salivation in dogs in response to being fed
· He placed a small test tume inside their cheeks to beasure the amount of saliva when they were to be fed
· But he noticed that the dogs started responding to assistants’ steps
· He then added things like bells to the dogs feeding routine, and anything coupled with the dogs feeding they would salivate
WELL PAVILOV CONDITIONED DOGS FOR SALIVATION… AND GOD CONDITIONED HIS PEOPLE FOR SALVATION,
📷Them not only with blood sacrifices, but other Old Testament Conditioned Stimuli- like the returning of one like the Prophet Elijah
BEHOLD THE LAMB OF GOD WHO TAKES AWAY THE SIN OF THE WORLD!!
