John Nash was a genius but was plagued with schizophrenia. Near the end of the movie, when he found out that he was being considered as a candidate for the Nobel Prize, he said to man doing the interview, "I cannot yield to my appetites. Looking for hidden patterns, listening to the voices. They will consume me and ruin me. I cannot yield to them.
