THREE THINGS WHICH CHARACTERIZE THE CHURCH ABOVE ALL ITS OTHER FUNCTIONS:

TRES COSAS QUE CARACTERIZAN A LA IGLESIA SOBRE TODAS SUS OTRAS FUNCIONES:

IT WOULD BE BUILT BY JESUS.

SERÍA CONSTRUIDO POR JESÚS.

2).

IT WILL BE A VICTORIOUS ARMY WHICH WOULD PREVAIL AGAINST THE GATES OF HELL.

SERA UN EJERCITO VICTORIOSO QUE PREVALECERÁ CONTRA LAS PUERTAS DEL INFIERNO.

IT WOULD HAVE THE POWER TO BIND AND LOOSE.

Matthew 16:13-18 (NLT) 13 When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, “Who do people say that the Son of Man is?” 14 “Well,” they replied, “some say John the Baptist, some say Elijah, and others say Jeremiah or one of the other prophets.”

15 Then he asked them, “But who do you say I am?” 16 Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” 17 Jesus replied, “You are blessed, Simon son of John, because my Father in heaven has revealed this to you.

You did not learn this from any human being.

18 Now I say to you that you are Peter (which means ‘rock’), and upon this rock I will build my church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it.

Mateo 16:13-18 (NTV) 13 Cuando Jesús llegó a la región de Cesarea de Filipo, les preguntó a sus discípulos: ¿Quién dice la gente que es el Hijo del Hombre?

14 Bueno contestaron, algunos dicen Juan el Bautista, otros dicen Elías, y otros dicen Jeremías o algún otro profeta.

No lo aprendiste de ningún ser humano.

Only someone even stronger someone who could tie him up and then plunder his house.

Hebreos 2:14 (NTV) 14 Debido a que los hijos de Dios son seres humanos hechos de carne y sangre el Hijo también se hizo de carne y sangre.

Pues solo como ser humano podía morir y solo mediante la muerte podía quebrantar el poder del diablo, quien tenia el poder sobre la muerte.
