Remembering your work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord
1 Th 1:2-3 2 We give thanks to God always for you all, making mention of you in our prayers, 3 remembering without ceasing your work of faith, labor of love, and patience of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ in the sight of our God and Father,
BECAUSE;
2 Co 5:20 we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us – to a lost and hurting world
2 Co 6:1 We then, (are) as workers together with Him – His body
Mal 3:16-17 6 Then those who feared the Lord spoke to one another,
And the Lord listened and heard them;
So a book of remembrance was written before Him
For those who fear the Lord
And who meditate on His name.
17 “They shall be Mine,” says the Lord of hosts,
“On the day that I make them My jewels.
Your work and labor of love, in that you have ministered to the saints,

FIELD TRIPS – interest in & encouragement for our youth
CONCERN, COMPASSION, & CARE FOR ONE ANOTHER – calls, visits, words of encouragement
CARDS SENT – over 2,000
FLOWERS SENT – many, 10s’ of flowers to hospitals and funerals
FOOD PREPARED & SERVED – those in need, the sick, grieving family members
BOXES SENT TO SOLDIERS - show of love & support for our soldiers/families
FRUIT BASKETS – recognition of the widows
CAROLING – ministering, encouragement, recognition of others
Your alms (charitable gifts) are remembered in the sight of God as well.
Acts 10:31 31 ….. , ‘Cornelius, …, and your 1alms (charitable gifts)are remembered in the sight of God.
Your alms (charitable gifts) can be seen toward the poor, needy, and lonely;

SHOE BOXES – given to needy children along with a witness of Christ
GIVING TO OTHERS – financial, material (as a church)
CHRISTMAS GIFTS – both monetarily & otherwise (as individuals)
FOOD BOXES – show of love & support for those in need
Your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, is seen by your “Remembering the persecuted”
Heb 13:2-3 3 Remember the prisoners as if chained with them—those who are mistreated—since you yourselves are in the body also.

that your love may abound still more and more in knowledge & all discernment
10 that you may approve the things that are excellent,
that you may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ,
11 being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ,
to the glory and praise of God.
