13 And it came to pass, when Joshua was by Jericho, that he lifted his eyes and looked, and behold, a Man stood opposite him with His sword drawn in His hand. And Joshua went to Him and said to Him, “Are You for us or for our adversaries?” 14 So He said, “No, but as Commander of the army of the Lord I have now come.” And Joshua fell on his face to the earth and worshiped, and said to Him, “What does my Lord say to His servant?” 15 Then the Commander of the Lord’s army said to Joshua, “Take your sandal off your foot, for the place where you stand is holy.” And Joshua did so.

You must understand that you are not in it by yourself , what ever the situation God is all by the way on your side . God is their with you in the battle , if you can just calm your self down you will see the salvation of the lord .

Introduction .
Joshua Leading the children of Isreal after .. His first inreadibale challenege to show is a Leader. listen been a leader is a very huge responsibility.
You must understand anything you look at leader either spiritual or circular you must understand that you are a leader to and you have responsibility , to whom much is given much is require , so a s u lead you must understand that life will continually trowing new things at you . new challenge, oppurtunity , trials , event .
If you are not contuining facing new things , you are not Leading .. You are Reapiting . Every morning u wake up you are facing another era , challenges. If you are leader you are progressive . it means you are facing a new things all the time .
Some people say don’t worry Just give it to God , but as leader you must learn to step out take it by the horn , many christian use God is in control as an excuse for procastination . Who love to say. if the meant for me to have it He will give it to me (Job , Relationship, Home ) . if you meant to give me this Job lord let it rain on the right side of the carpet . and we put out flees excuses to relieve oursleve of Human engagement . Get involve in YOUR life … Your cannot build at the same time pull down .
The Problem will have in church we have two people in church , that passive that need motivation and the agressive that over drive .
we have some that so passive that you need to tell say could you please do something , do it even if it is wrong and we have to correct it , breath on the mirrior let us know u are alive , don’t live like a status . Bread ,…Get invloved with live .
But Joshua in our text in not a passive person , His a worrior , aggressive , take it by the horn attiutude , a fight , tenacious , challenge sitiuation maybe that is why he was choosen after moses .(potential to lead in circle)
Moses is a leader who cannot control is temper.. You cannot lead into greatness with small mind.. we all fell our emotion but must still control them, you must not allow it to control you . instead you must direct it to right part . because , God is always concern about people who abuse authority .... either church , cooperative , even home .. God said i will not answ ur prayer , or pull u down.

Joshua was ready to take on the battle of his life and he has all the blood pumping , so when he saw a man towards him he ran with agressive and was ready to cut it down .. Are u for me or my against ...
But First of all … It wasn’t a MAN it was GOD . We could something be so practical in our Journey and fight of destiny that we fail to recognise God..
But Jos is about to make a crippling mistake here. because is about to attack what it thinks is a man, not recognising is God all the way ..
Can u Recognise GOD in your situation .. or are u so pratical dealing with man , system , budget , saving , that you fail to see God. dealing with fact , principle , figures , the problem .. that you fail to recoginse ,
That, their is a Spiritual Dynamics to wining in Life . I am not saying you do not put praying i will be contradicting my self , Infact it drive me crazy to hear people saying Just pray ,turn around seven time then all will be well , No
You have to engage and do something in other to win the battle of life . Faith without work is dead been alone .
But you must understand that WORK alone do not get it either , you must understand the dynamic of balancing WORK with With Faith.
Is not about running around like headless chicken , having five Jobs, no time for your life , no time for God, You just working working , you chasing unrealistic expectation . and the problem in that you get everything going BUT GOD .. God is calm down ...
When God get in the midst of your goal and what you are chasing after in life , it makes you to be more effective , more precision , The hardest thing you will have to learn in life Journey , is your ability to balance what is your responsibility and what is GOD responsibility. who does what ?..
But the first thing is , I have to recognise God in the situation. and the second thing is ability to distribute responsibility ..
Disciple always miss it when they where with Jesus .. bec whenever God show in different form they always miss it .. Religious people alwsy expect God to show up in a cartain pattern .. they get DEEP.. As you face new challenges God always show up in different form .trying to lock God down into a pattern. Are you sensitive enough to see God is your changing issue .. God can use anything to bless YOU and speak to you.
Religious people are deep but not prayerful ,.. they say prayer but not from their . hearth ..
Because you have to face new thing to be prayerful . you have to face something that makes you vuluanrable, unsecure to have a prayer life..
you have to come to God not been unknwoing all to have a prayer life . some of you don’t pray becuase you think you get all.. You don’t pray you braggin . you know i get it God..
are u for us .. or againt us.. the diciple expience of Jesus..
New challanges is a sign of progress, is a sign of going to another dimension , but don’t expect God to show up they way he use to .. that is what drive you to pray ..
Don’t be afraid to see God in another form .. He will show up in the board meeting room, show up in your lab, assignment , he will use things to guide u hand and lead u right.
You see when u go to new expressience you have tendency to be afraid . becu u looking for God to show up as he use to do , but God said i will do a new thing you.
I will show up in New way…
Your must be able to recongise me even if He show up in another form..
