Where is He?

1 Now when Jesus was born in Beth-lehem of Judaea in the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, 2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.

the wise men asked a question: Where is he? Today, we are also going to ask that question, and by God’s Word and leading of the Spirit we are going to answer that question.

But we are going to ask this question 3 times, each with a slightely different paramiter.

Where is He When He was Born?

The World is a pretty big place and there are lots of places, from Asia to Africa where a baby can be born.

Even if you narrow down the continent, you still have many countries from Congo to the carriribian.

And even if you somehow managed tro bring it all the way down to the country, there are still many places a child can be born, from the fat cats in goverment to the poor they trample underfoot.

Jesus was born in Bethlehem. The wise men at lest knew that. How - Because God told us He would.

Matthew 2:5–6 KJV 1900

5 And they said unto him, In Beth-lehem of Judaea: for thus it is written by the prophet, 6 And thou Beth-lehem, in the land of Juda, art not the least among the princes of Juda: for out of thee shall come a Governor, that shall rule my people Israel.

But where in Bethlehem was He?

7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

At birth and throughout his life you would not find Jesus if you went to the top of siocitys ladder, Now, even as then you will find him witrh the common man, with the poor, with meek and with the lowly.

Where is He Now?

What about now? Where is Jesus now? Well i can tell you where a lot of so called religious leaders are: Budda is dead. Mohammed is dead. Krishna is dead. Joseph Smith is dead. Confuces is dead. Mafry baker is dead.

But Jesus is alive.

So where is he Now?

Acts 7:55–56 KJV 1900

55 But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God, 56 And said, Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.

Matthew 28:18 KJV 1900

18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Right now Jesus is in heaven at the right hand of the father, with all power and all authority. He has the authority to forgive and set free. He has the authority to deliver and to heal.

And to have Him in your life you do not need to complete a course, or walk on fire, or take a pilgfrimage, or confess to a fallen man.

All you need to do is call on His Name.

13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Speaking of you life...

Where is He in Your Life Right Now?

Although Jesus is in Heaven, He, being omnipresnt by His Spirit, is also present in each and everyone of our lives. So, say I, went looking for Jesus in your life, where would I find or… Would i find Him at all?

Lets start in your own personal life.

If i were to plant a bug on you and listen in, would i come to the conclusion that Jesus was in fact with you?

Would I hear you have devotional time with him? evotional time with Jesus is the same concept as intimate time with yor spouse, or quality time with your chiuldren. Its simple personal and private time alone with Jesus.

Would I hear you singing to him? or would i only hear you singing along the disgusting likes of Katy Perry or john legend?

Woukld i hear you praying? or would i hear gossip, complaing and swearing?

Would i hear you reading the spcirpures? or would i just hear the drone of some ungodly pornographioc tv program that a christian has no buisness watching?

1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,

Where is Jesus in your marriage?

Would i hear a couple praying together, laughing togther? or would i only ever hear the sound of bickering, moaning and bitterness?

18 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.

Where is Jesus in your Children?

Would i hear you discipling your children and loving them? or will i hear then being disrepec tful and cheeky without any consequence to their behavior?

24 He that spareth his rod hateth his son: But he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.

Where is Jesus in your Job or Career?

Are you thankful for God’s provision? If you are then why dont you tithe?
