            Bob Gass tells this story about the Berlin Wall when it was still standing:

            One morning some East Berliners dumped a truckload of garbage on the west side of the Wall.

            The West Berliners responded with a great idea.

            They filled a truck with canned goods, medicine, clothes and other nonperishable items and took it to the east side of the Wall.  They stacked it neatly And put a sign near it which read,

“Each gives what he has to give.”
