I hesitate to talk about my calling only because when people hear about God’s calling for someone for a purpose, they often think it only applies to a Pastor, however that is not the only occupation, or position that God calls His people.
The reality is God has a calling specifically for you

Have you ever found it hard to identify God’s calling for your life?
I believe the same was true for Joseph
and as we look at his life, God gives insight to us how Gos was leading Joseph to his clling

Joseph was young
He had a desire to follow what was right
Vs. 3-4
Joseph had some challenges growing up - Spoiled - Brother hated him - and were soon to sell him into slavery
There was one, however, of a widely different character—the elder son of Rachel, Joseph, whose rare personal beauty seemed but to reflect an inward beauty of mind and heart.
Pure, active, and joyous, the lad gave evidence also of moral earnestness and firmness.
He listened to his father’s instructions, and loved to obey God.
The qualities that afterward distinguished him in Egypt—gentleness, fidelity, and truthfulness—were already manifest in his daily life.
His mother being dead, his affections clung the more closely to the father, and Jacob’s heart was bound up in this child of his old age.
He “loved Joseph more than all his children.”
But even this affection was to become a cause of trouble and sorrow.
Jacob unwisely manifested his preference for Joseph, and this excited the jealousy of his other sons.
As Joseph witnessed the evil conduct of his brothers, he was greatly troubled; he ventured gently to remonstrate with them, but only aroused still further their hatred and resentment.
He could not endure to see them sinning against God, and he laid the matter before his father, hoping that his authority might lead them to reform.

Perhaps you have just been doing your own thing without seeking God’s will
or maybe you have run away from God’s calling in your life
or maybe you have been following God’s calling but you haven’t allowed Him to grow you in your journey
