Life is in the Blood
Life is in the Blood
Today I want to talk abut the precious blood. That blood is not a symbol of death, but of life.
4 But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.
Life is in the Blood.
Everlasting Life is in the Blood of Jesus.
The Bible tells us something very intresting abikut Jesus.
5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
Both Looking at Jesus - The Father looks at his son.
Man looks at his savior. Both see the same person - The Lord Jesus Christ.
What does the Father see?
What does the Father see?
Well let me tell you what the father sees without Jesus.
What does the father see when he looks at humanity?
5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
This wickness incures wrath.
11 And I will punish the world for their evil, And the wicked for their iniquity; And I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, And will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible.
But early on in scripture we find God, about to pour out his wrath and judgment on wicked people. But before he does so he tells us how to esacpe.
He tells them, that so long as he sees only their wickness, he will bring judgment. But if he sees something else, His judgment will passover them.
13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt.
I will see the blood. vs I will see the wickedness of man.
Whern God looks at you, who have by faith applied the blood. - The blood had to be applied to the door with hyssop. hyssop is a symbol of faith.
When God looks at the life of someone who has applied the blood of the Lamb to their lives by faith, all the Father sees is holy, spotless, sinless and perfect blood of Jesus. He cannot see the sin past the blood.
And His jusgment passrs over and His blessings come and stay.
7 Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.
This is what Jesus meant about asking in His Name.
23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.
When we ask in the Name of Jesus, we are approaching the Father covered in the blood of the Son, when we ask, we ask in the authority of the son, it is as if the son Himself were asking the father.
Thats What the Fsther sees when he looks at the blood.
What do you see when you look at the Blood?

God Loves You.
And to prove it He sent you an amazing valintines gift.
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
When we see the blood, which we can only see by way of the cross, we see the undeniable proof of God’s great love towards us.
What is love?
4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
Let me make sure everyone one of you understand the Love ogf God.
The proof that God loves you is not in circumstantial means. Its not in health - though he wants you to be healthy.
Its not in ritches - thou he wants you to prosper.
Its not in happy marriages - though he wants your marriage to last. Its not in perfect families - though he wants your family to be blessed.
The proof that God loves you is not found in mony, family, health or happiness.
The proof that God loves you is found in the indisputable existence of a blood soaked cross.
So long as that cross exists, the love of God cannot be disputed.
So long as you keep the cross in your sights, the love of God cannot be doubted.
So long as the cross remains in our preaching, the love of God cannot be diluted.
So long as the cross remains in the church, our message will never never become dull.
So long as the cross remains in your heart, the holy Spirit will never disapear.
So long as the cross remains in our bibles, its teachings will never be out-dated.
So long as the cross is where you lay your burdens, you will never discouraged.
So long as the cross remains - We know God Loves us.
13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.
