word of warning I'm probably going to be all over the place the next two weeks.

for one reason what we're going to look at this week and next week are versus that I share with a couple different people that are currently

just rocking me. Not enough. And I'm not being.

Broken by them being broken by then, but I'm being more pushed. You might be the better word. And so whenever I whenever I get to a place where I feel like God is just shouting at me. In Jesus came and said to them. This is where we need to pay attention in heaven. And on Earth has been given to me. Go therefore. And Make Disciples of all Nations baptizing them in the name of the father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit. Teaching them to obey all and behold. I Am With You Always to the end of the age.

now, let's jump forward 2 Acts chapter 1

I want to tell you a little bit about the story the story

these story is the story of Jesus, right?

I think there's a couple things in the next two weeks it we're going to talk about that. I don't think this church is marked by.

It starts with me. I'll be the first to admit it.

And over the next couple weeks. I hope that changes. I trust that will change.

And we can't allow that to be discouraging to us because that's not our job. Her job is not about to bring change life and everybody that we encounter our job.

And then we have this note. It literally speaking. It's a booking. Assassin Verse 18. Jesus says them and then in verse 21 in the hold I am with you always.

To have the power to change people's life. We have to do the things that Jesus calls to do and he will do the rest.

Go therefore. Make Disciples of all Nations baptizing them in the name of the father.

Teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you to hold. I will be with you.

Is a couple things that were told to do here were told First Make Disciples.

Discipleship is not a word that we typically use in the Evangelical Church, and she's really quite sad other words like accountability.

Fellowship groups in small groups and we don't use the term the scripture actually tells us to use

What discipleship was an actual thing in the ancient world concept of sharing the gospel with people bringing them into your life? Jesus goes to Peter James and John and the other of the Apostles and he sees you, and follow me and they left their boats left their stuff. They left their jobs and literally live with Jesus for 3 years.

Not many of us probably can't invite another person into our homes to have us live with us. but we can certainly be more involved in the

We can regularly get together with smaller numbers of people and read the Bible together and and Wednesday evening Bible study is good, but there's too many people to be into Jesus pick Peter James and John out of the 12 apostles extremely intimate with

cuz I actually started to share the message with even struan. Are we ever going to share the message with the ends of the Earth? And I think by the way, Jesus is speaking to us. He's not just saying churches as a whole.

But we can't do that. Until we do the simple first. God calls us to do as he calls us to do the simple and when we submit to the simple, he will bring the complex. we learn to do the thing simply as
