The Theme for today’s message is:

Discipleship: The key for obedience and growth

Matthew 28:18–20 NKJV
18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
The key for obedience and growth
Matthew 28:
Mark 16:15–18 NKJV
15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
Mark 16

1. CURRENT SITUATION OF THE CHURCH

We could talk a lot about church statistics, but I will bring only three:

7% OF CHURCHES MULTIPLY; we can have fancy seminars, but the key is multiplication. Rev. Hernandes Dias Lopes said recently that passing by one street in NY he saw 14 churches closed!
90% COME FROM ANOTHER CHURCHES; we move around, instead of solving our problems.
Pareto Law: (applied to the Church): 80% of everything that happens in Church is a result of the efforts of 20% of the people
80% of everything that happens in church is a result of the efforts of 20% of the people

2. A RETURN TO OUR ROOTS

Jesus: He would speak and heal the Multitudes, but explain everything in details when alone. 72, 12, 3, 1, Nicodemus, Samaritan woman.
Paul: Timothy, Silas, Luke, Epaphroditus
72, 12, 3, 1
Phillip and the Eunuch
Nicodemus, Samaritan

3. THE RESULTS OF OBEDIENCE

Salvation - And also abundant life, true freedom in Christ.
Numeric Growth - Based on countless numbers of Discipleship Groups.
Living under the blessings of the Word of God - Peace, Quality of life. The assurance that I am fulfilling the goal that God intended for my life, living it by what the Scriptures say.

FINAL APPLICATIONS

Jesus didn’t call us to build temples, He called us to make disciples.
Here at Unchained, this is gonna be our focus: Freedom, Disciples, Scriptures.
ALL OF US will make disciples.
Everything alive grows
Paul’s last words: “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.”
To sum up what Jesus commanded, it would be:

GO, MAKE DISCIPLES, OPERATE UNDER THE HOLY SPIRIT!

Final question:

How many people will you find in Heaven who are a direct fruit of your discipleship?
