While this family is living for the Lord in the midst of a generation that has thrown the Word of God behind their backs, another family has left Bethlehem to live in the land of Moab, because their was a famine in the land...

Ruth

After Elimelech died, Naomis sons took Moabite women as their wives—Orpah and Ruth.

They lived in Moab for ten years and both sons died.

Naomi and her daughters-in-law set out to return to Bethlehem, because the famine was over.

Naomi asked the girls to return to their people and their gods two times.

After Orpah returned, Naomi asked Ruth for the third time to return to Moab.

However Ruth responded:
