The world and all its people belong to him.

23 Bring this tithe to the designated place of worship the place the Lord your God chooses for his name to be honored and eat it there in his presence.

This applies to your tithes of grain, new wine, olive oil, and the firstborn males of your flocks and herds.

Doing this will teach you always to fear the Lord your God.

Deuteronomio 14:22-23 (NTV) 22 »Deberás separar el diezmo de tus cosechas, es decir, la décima parte de todo lo que coseches cada año.23 Lleva ese diezmo al lugar de adoración designado el lugar que el Señor tu Dios elija para que su nombre sea honrado y cómelo allí, en su presencia.

Lo harás así con el diezmo de tus granos, tu vino nuevo, tu aceite de oliva y los machos de las primeras crías de tus rebaños y manadas.

Esta práctica te enseñará a temer siempre al Señor tu Dios.

Deuteronomy 14:29 (NLT) 29 Give it to the Levites, who will receive no allotment of land among you, as well as to the foreigners living among you, the orphans, and the widows in your towns, so they can eat and be satisfied.

Then the Lord your God will bless you in all your work.

Deuteronomio 14:29 (NTV) 29 Dáselo a los levitas quienes no recibirán ninguna asignación de tierra como las demás tribus y también a los extranjeros que vivan en medio de ti, a los huérfanos y a las viudas de tus ciudades, para que coman y se sacien.

Luke 24:47-53 (NLT) 47 It was also written that this message would be proclaimed in the authority of his name to all the nations, beginning in Jerusalem: ‘There is forgiveness of sins for all who repent.’

48 You are witnesses of all these things.

49 “And now I will send the Holy Spirit, just as my Father promised.

But stay here in the city until the Holy Spirit comes and fills you with power from heaven.”

50 Then Jesus led them to Bethany, and lifting his hands to heaven, he blessed them.

51 While he was blessing them, he left them and was taken up to heaven.

52 So they worshiped him and then returned to Jerusalem filled with great joy.53

And they spent all of their time in the Temple, praising God.

3 Then, what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on each of them.

4 And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in other languages, as the Holy Spirit gave them this ability.

Then they preached the word of God with boldness.

I will sing in the spirit, and I will also sing in words I understand.

Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

39 This promise is to you, to your children, and to those far away all who have been called by the Lord our God.”
