THERE IS MORE! There’s the better life.
How do we get to the better life?
If someone tells me there is a better way to live, I’m going to run to it.
Not just put it on my “check it out later” list.
Most important message:
open your eyes!
Receive the love of God!
No one will ever love you like God does.
It makes no sense to go through life without this.
If someone was willing to die for you, wouldn’t you want to know about it?
Wouldn’t you want to know them?
Someone did die for you, Jesus Christ.
He lived a perfect life and died to pay for your mistakes.
So that you could live a new life of purpose.
You were created to know and love God.

You weren’t put here for all of those things.
You were put here for God’s purposes!
If you ignore that, it would be a huge waste of your life.
God knows us.
It’s no accident for us to hear this today.
There’s a better way to life.
Become who God made you to be.
When we are following God with our lives, our lives are better.
Not easier, not necessarily peachy-happy.
But better, more fulfilling, more whole.
Prayer to read aloud together:
Dear God, everything You create has a purpose, including me.
I don’t want to miss my purpose, or waste my life, or live it disconnected from You anymore.
Instead, I want to become what You designed me to be.
Starting today, I want to follow Your plan for my life, not my plan.
In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
I hope ALL of us can begin to see the purpose God has for us.
Guys don’t waste your life.
Get to know God, find his better life.
Putting all of this together, let me give you one more thought.
God’s purpose for YOUR life is that you’ll use your life to help OTHERS find God.
Think about the people you go to school with.
There is so much aimlessness.
So much wandering.
People don’t have a good life.
They’re chasing the good life that will never be good enough.
They don’t know that someone loves them and died for them to give them a better life.
God put YOU in their life to help them find God.
pray for them.
Talk to them.
Show them how much God loves them.
