Exodus 36:5-6 (NLT) 5 They went to Moses and reported, “The people have given more than enough materials to complete the job the Lord has commanded us to do!” 6 So Moses gave the command, and this message was sent throughout the camp: “Men and women, don’t prepare any more gifts for the sanctuary.

We have enough!”

So the people stopped bringing their sacred offerings.

Éxodo 36:5-6 (NTV) 5 fueron a ver a Moisés y le informaron: «¡La gente ha dado más de lo necesario para terminar la obra que el Señor nos ha ordenado hacer!».

6 Entonces Moisés dio una orden, y se envió el siguiente mensaje por todo el campamento: «Hombres y mujeres: no preparen más ofrendas para el santuario.

¡Ya tenemos lo suficiente!».

Por lo tanto, la gente dejó de llevar sus ofrendas sagradas.

1 Chronicles 29:10-12 (NLT) 10 Then David praised the Lord in the presence of the whole assembly: “O Lord, the God of our ancestor Israel, may you be praised forever and ever!

11 Yours, O Lord, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty.

Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O Lord, and this is your kingdom.

We adore you as the one who is over all things.

12 Wealth and honor come from you alone, for you rule over everything.

Power and might are in your hand, and at your discretion people are made great and given strength.

1 Crónicas 29:10-12 (NTV) 10 Luego David alabó al Señor en presencia de toda la asamblea: «¡Oh Señor, Dios de nuestro antepasado Israel, que seas alabado por siempre y para siempre!11 Tuyos, oh Señor, son la grandeza, el poder, la gloria, la victoria y la majestad.

Todo lo que hay en los cielos y en la tierra es tuyo, oh Señor, y este es tu reino.

Te adoramos como el que está por sobre todas las cosas.

12 La riqueza y el honor solo vienen de ti, porque tú gobiernas todo.

El poder y la fuerza están en tus manos, y según tu criterio la gente llega a ser poderosa y recibe fuerzas.

1 Chronicles 29:14 (NLT) 14 But who am I, and who are my people, that we could give anything to you? Everything we have has come from you, and we give you only what you first gave us!

1 Crónicas 29:14 (NTV) 14 ¿Pero quién soy yo, y quién es mi pueblo, para que podamos darte algo a ti? ¡Todo lo que tenemos ha venido de ti, y te damos solo lo que tú primero nos diste!

2 Kings 4:1-7 (NLT) 4 One day the widow of a member of the group of prophets came to Elisha and cried out, “My husband who served you is dead, and you know how he feared the Lord.

But now a creditor has come, threatening to take my two sons as slaves.” 2 “What can I do to help you?”

Elisha asked.

“Tell me, what do you have in the house?”

“Nothing at all, except a flask of olive oil,” she replied.

3 And Elisha said, “Borrow as many empty jars as you can from your friends and neighbors.

4 Then go into your house with your sons and shut the door behind you.

Pour olive oil from your flask into the jars, setting each one aside when it is filled.”

5 So she did as she was told.

Her sons kept bringing jars to her, and she filled one after another.
