Scripture: 2 Cor. 1:1-11
One Big Thing: God comforts His children in their suffering.

Suffering:
    • Has a purpose (vv. 3-8)
    • Reminds us that Christ is our prize (v. 5)
    • Will lead us to despair or dependence (vv. 8-10)

Application:
    • Pray for one another (v. 11)
    • Pursue Jesus
    • Have a right attitude towards suffering
