Law at the Gates
I finally finished the Romanesque book, which I started Sometime in November last year. The motivation to finish the book is the lesson I will be teaching tommorrow. It is on the art in the Middle Ages. This book had the pictures needed for the lesson. I don't know if I was ever going to finish the book if I didn't have the lesson.
The best part of the book for me is the about the law at the church portals. It is mostly likely derived from the Old Testament as justice was to be done at the city gates, the rest is on the lesson, or can be found in pages 324-327.
