I have heard there was a German monastery which had two sets of antlers on display. The antlers were locked together from a fight they had. Both deer died locked together. This is an illustration of many people's lifes. Some folks are locked up in conflict with others, and let me tell you, as long as a person allows their life be controlled by strife, they will never be at peace with God. We have to forgive if we expect to be forgiven by the Creator. Do not let strife dominate your life. The locked horns illustration has application to the church also. If we allow ourselves to be locked up in strife we will never be able to became the group of believers God would have us to be. God's word says in the book of Proverbs 20:3

It is an honour for a man to cease from strife: but every fool will be meddling.
