*NEBUCHADNEZZAR’S UNGODLINESS – ‘The World through the eyes of Nebuchadnezzar *
Nebuchadnezzar used the help given to him by God to move himself further into independence of God.
*1. **The King’s Image *
We immediately find him perverting the very message through which God tried to win him.
*a. **The Creation of the Image *
He creates an image: “/Nebuchadnezzar made an image of gold/…” [3:1].

§ צְלֵ֣ם- “/image/” [3:1], ‘a sculptured image’; ‘a statue’;
§ “/you, O king, saw, and behold a great image/…” [2:31].
