            When I was a child I remember hearing sermons comparing the church to Noah’s Ark. One Ark/One Church.  One door in the Ark/One Entry into the Church:  Christ.  To be outside was to be lost, etc.

            I’d like to add another observation to that.  The church is in fact much like the ark in that if it were not for the much stronger stench of death on the outside you couldn’t stand the stink on the inside!  We do not deny that there are worldwide problems in the church – yes, inside the church.  But it beats what you can find anywhere else by a long shot.
