Men think a lot of a person with power. When someone has power tend to flock to that person feeling that they can get some semblance of what that person. The richest people in the world and be surrounded by everyone.
How much greater is it to have power with the King of kings!
Know this there is indeed comprehensive blessings when we have power with God.
The man who has power with God, has power with men.
The man has power with God:
He would tell him of his needs
they will be supplied
He will confess his sins
they will be forgiven
But the truth is there is no blessing that I can make sound good when the power of God

It IS power WITH God!
Man can think he has power
But there is no real power in life apart from God.
Our existence is because He wills it.
God is all powerful.
If you continue to fight with Him
He will break you into many pieces
He molds you like clay, and can un-mold you as well.
It is not mental Power

Many people think the are smarter than God.
many in the world say they will never believe:
What they don’t understand
what they can’t see.
1 Corinthians 1:25 (NKJV)
25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
We need to always surrender to His great judgement
and never think we are smarter than He is.
Psalm 39:9 (NKJV)
9 I was mute, I did not open my mouth, Because it was You who did it.
Power with God is not Magic

A man should be ashamed to admit they believe in magic spells, and witchcraft.
Man should believe in MIRACLES!
Some believe that going to a sick person and reading a prayer from a book is going to save them.
GOD does not listen to words strung together, He listens to a persons HEART!
Power with God is not Earned

By simply doing things to make you sound religious does not make you a child of God!

work enough
suffer enough
cry enough
feel guilty enough
Jesus tells us we need to
believe in Him
acknowledge our sin
When we plead our sin, it is truth
when we plead our works, it is a lie

We get power WITH him, by His nature

The nature of God is to “feel” Him

Kids starving on TV
That feeling is the same feeling God gets when He sees His children struggle with sin.
Let Him know your weakness
sin is a weakness
By admitting your weakness, He will pity you.
God has:
love
pity
tenderness
gentleness
mercy
Our power with Him only lies in these things
Another point of His power is His promise to us

He has promised to give His power to all His children

11 For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift, so that you may be established—
Just as a contract that says you will do something
God has it in black and white (the Bible)
We will have power with God when we Cry “Father”!

Just prayer does not give a man Power
We must admit our own weakness to Him
2 Corinthians 12:10 (NKJV)
10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.
Jacob did not win the battle until “Jesus” touched His Hip. Then He fell clutching with all his might as he fell.
What if we went to God hanging on to Him with all our might?
In your weakness you are indeed strong!
God will not know you when your are at your “best”
but, when you are at your weakest and worst
Remember: Moses begged God’s forgiveness of the Golden Calf
