Previously talked about
We talked about ki
we talked about the kingdom
its place, its purpose, what it means
We talked about who we are
who we are individually and in the kingdom
But lets be honest
it is the fact that if we do not know who we are than we have failed
because lets be honest
thats our identity in a nut shell
But I will go a step farther
we must know him
we must know who he is
we must identify with him
and then we will know our identity
ex.
my kids and their identity
as parents we help to stage that identity.
And as I identify in the father i should help my children identify in him
matt
it was this scripture in which the father began to really show me what sonship really meant
what it really meant to be a son
and what it meant to really call and acknowledge him as father
this scripture began to speak volumes for me beyond its logical understanding
So our key to identity is knowing the Father
The problem is that many of us don’t really know the father.
We think that we do
Many of us try to equate our scientific mind with identifying the father
or we relate our relationship with our earthly father with that of our heavenly father
and one cannot equal the other
no chance no way
ex personal life/my natural father
Ex. my life in search of relationship
so who is the father that we serve
who is this god we worship
to many are walking around with a false idea about who god really is
so who is God?
Well that is honestly a loaded question
because there are so many names and definitions
and to be honest one subject or person that cannot be defined in just a few words
God is:
Jehovah - Tsidkenu = the God of rightheousness
Jehovah- m - kaddesh = God of sacntification
Jehovah - Shalom = God of peace
Jehovah- Shammah = the God who is there
Jehovah Rapha = the God who heals
Jehovah Jireh = my provider
Jehovah - Nissi = my banner
Jehovah - Rohi - Your Sheperd
And here we haven’t even scratched the surface
there are so man other names
these name and many more define who he really is
So who is God?
He is 3 in 1
now lets clarify something up front
no god does not have an identity crisis
God is not bipolar and he is not 3 people
but is he is 3 in 1
he is the father
he is the son
he is the Holy Spirit
And a lot of people get confused with this termonology
They try to wrap it around in their natural mind
when the natural mind cannot compare to the mind of Christ
But as we reside with the mind of Christ we have his thoughts and his ways
see here in that passage, the word ears does not mean the little funny things that are on the side of your face
but it physically represents the literal mind of Christ
if you didn’t know it, let me tell you
in the bible God desires to share his mind with his children
See it is within our own physical mind that we cannot begin to understand
For god is the supreme being
he is the king
he is peace
he is love
he is not the representative of these things, but the embodiment of
are you getting it yet?
he is omniscient = he knows everything
he is omnipresent = he is present everywhere at the same time
he is omnipotent = he is all powerful
he is everything that we could ever need
he is the Godhead
he is the divine nature
so the second entity of the trinity is Jesus
God is himself in a flesh suit
God in flesh
And jesus’ mission and purpose on earth was to reintroduce the kingdom of god on earth to mankind
He came to restore the righteousness and holiness of man
He came to restore the holy spirit of man
he came to retain mankind for kingdom leadership
he came to restore the kingdom rulership of god on earth through mankind
he cam to return the administration of Gods kingdom on earth to Gods earthly king
see so adam had it good
he was living in the perfect world
He walked in the cool with God
he talked with god whenever he wanted
he possessed the authority and dominion statedd in Genesis
But it was when he ate of the fruit that he allowed sin to run rabid in a perfect world
and because of that
the HS left man
yes the HS resided in Adam
