When the Glory comes.
Moses and the burning bush
Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian. And he led the flock to the back of the desert, and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. 2 And the Angel of the Lord appeared to him in a flame of fire from the midst of a bush. So he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, but the bush was not consumed. 3 Then Moses said, “I will now turn aside and see this great sight, why the bush does not burn.” (FYI Moses was alone, LOL.) …. “‘So I said to myself…. ‘SELF’”
4 So when the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!”
God’s wanting to call out to you, but are you turning to look? Are you going where the FIRE is to see if God has something to say to you?SAY, ‘I’m looking for the fire’
And Moses found it and responded appropriately…
And he said, “Here I am.”
5 Then He said, “Do not draw near this place. Take your sandals off your feet, for the place where you stand is holy ground.” 6 Moreover He said, “I am the God of your father—the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” And Moses hid his face, for he was afraid to look upon God.
7 And the Lord said: “I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and I have heard their cry because of their taskmasters, for I know their sorrows. 8 So I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up from that land to a good and large land, to a land flowing with milk and honey,
1. God called to him And he said, “Here I am.”
GOD CALLS, WE SAY…… ‘HERE I AM’ (‘HERE AM I’ if you’re an orthodox christian or a KJV ONLY-ist)
The Lord leads him into ‘posture’
‘Moses… take off your shoes…’
Vulnerability (Shoes protect, they are a covering)
LIL HISTORY-
Taking off your shoe and giving it to someone was a sign of redeeming and changing.
: vs3 So Boaz said to the close relative, “Naomi sold this piece of land which belonged to our brother …4 And I thought to inform you, saying, ‘Buy it back … If you will redeem it….. And he said, “I will redeem it.”
Boaz then said you must also buy back the land from Ruth.The close relative said he couldn’t afford to pay that price.So Boaz payed the price in full and redeemed what was lost.

Now this was the custom in former times in Israel concerning redeeming and exchanging, to confirm anything: one man took off his sandal and gave it to the other, and this was a confirmation in Israel.
Confirmation of redemption was shown by removing ones shoe and giving it to another.Vulnerable and humble so something lost can be redeemed.
I SEE SOME BEAUTIFUL SIMILARITIES
TPT “He existed in the form of God, yet he gave no thought to seizing equality with God as his supreme prize. 7 Instead he emptied himself of his outward glory by reducing himself to the form of a lowly servant. He became human! 8 He humbled himself and became vulnerable…
The greatest victory of all time was won not by great bravery but by great humility.
Doesn’t say Jesus was so incredibly brave that he left glory behind.Humble AND vulnerable IS WHERE GLORY IS RELEASED.
And for the JOY set before Him he ENDURED the cross.
Did you notice that the Lord led Moses to humility and vulnerability as the starting point of the relationship?
He was teaching Moses how to posture.
ONCE THE POSTURE AND MINDSET ARE ALIGNED, WE HEAR GOD SAY THESE THINGS:
I have seen
I have heard
For I know
SO I HAVE COME
TO:
Deliver them OUT and to BRING THEM UP
SAY “OUT then UP”
Have you been delivered? Not deliverance…Have you allowed Him to prepare you and package you? Clothe you tightly and then squeeze you and put his label on you?And then when the time is right and you get to where He is sending you.
ALL OF CREATION IS WATING FOR YOU TO SHOW UP.
THEY’VE BEEN IN ANTICIPATION
SO WHEN That package comes flying open and everyone shouts!!!!!
“IT’S HERE!!! GOD SENT ONE OF HIS SONS AND DAUGHTERS, AND THEY ARE GOING TO LIGHT REVIVAL FIRE HERE and NOW”
Have you been delivered UP?
Before you can be delivered up, you have to be delivered out.
You may need some deliverance!Or…. MAYBE it’s easier to just stay in Egypt?It’s scary out thereIt’s gonna take faith Doesn’t look like much on the start of things. How will I know if it’s going to turn out?
Moses asked these questions:
Who am I that I should go? IDENTITY Who am I that I should bring the people OUT? QUALIFICATIONS WHO do I say sent me? CREDITABLE AFFILIATION

I HAVE ALREADY PREPARED THE WAY
AND
I AM GOING TO FINISH WHAT I’VE STARTED IN YOU.
