            On a CB or walkie-talkie, you can’t talk and listen at the same time.  It is probably true that without a CB or walkie-talkie you can’t talk and listen at the same time.

            We might use some CB procedures to improve our communication:  “Over” - “I’m through talking now.  I’m ready to listen to you.”  “Do you read me?” - “Did you hear what I said?”  This is taking responsibility for communication.

            “10-4” - “I hear and I agree.”
