1 Peter 2:21-25

 For you have been called for this purpose, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving

you an example for you to follow in His steps. 1 Peter 2:21 ~

How would you like to spend even one day in prison if you were innocent of the crime

you were charged with!

One Day!

Interestingly enough, there will be times when we are falsely accused, mistreated and maybe even face physical suffering when we have done nothing wrong.

How do you deal with that.

1 Peter 2:21-25

We will begin reading though at verse 18.

Notice - God didn't say to these servants, "now that you are Christians you should cease to be a slave."

What he says is - being a Christian should change how you act under the circumstances you find yourself.

Christ Our Pattern

Consider your CALLING

We have been called to become followers of Christ. And, he will teach how to live, even

in those situations where we are treat unjustly.

Note 3:8-9

We have been called to live a CHANGED life in all of our circumstances and not only

but relationship and experiences that we go through in daily life.

Consider Your EXAMPLE

What Jesus Did

There was not                                               Unjustly reproached

Sin  - Deceit  - reviling  - threats                Unfairly treated

But there was

Death

How he did it

He entrusted himself to the one who judges righteously

Why He Did It

It was necessary for our salvation
