God wants us to know His voice

God can speak any way at any time - writing on a wall, donkey
5 ways generally God speaks
The Bible - primary - all else must fall in line with it
not magic but trust - sheep and shepherd
All Scripture is inspired by God and is profitable for teaching, for rebuking, for correcting, for training in righteousness,

Authority - pastors, parents , government, bosses, spouses
Ultimately God is our authority
Key - if you can’t be under authority, you shouldn't be in authority

Godly is key word here - easy to go out and find people to agree
Look for humble people, care more about your future than feelings
The one who walks with the wise will become wise, but a companion of fools will suffer harm.

Test it - run it by others and scripture - why
We do rationalize our actions - lie to ourselves

Excuse to be lazy and disobedient
Don’t be deceived: God is not mocked. For whatever a person sows he will also reap,

1 - He wants you to know
2 -To know His voice you have to spend time with the Shepherd
Shepherding in Middle East - carry baby sheep on shoulders daily so they would learn the voice

Do the general things God tell us we will know the Specific things
God’s will/plan - go to church, pray, serve
We do the the daily stuff we will be ready for the big decisions
There is not in the world a kind of life more sweet and delightful, than that of a continual conversation with God; those only can comprehend it who practice and experience it.
