“Limiting God”
This Psalm is a patriotic hymn which is appropriate for a patriotic holiday as we celebrate on the 4th of July. A nation shares a common vision expressed in its history. To reject or ignore the nation’s history is to overthrow the nation without war or physical violence. Every revolution against a government begins with a revisionist history. TO FORGET WHAT GOD HAS DONE IN HISTORY IS TO LIMIT GOD ().

We grieve the undermining of our history by those who are changing the story from freedom of conscience. They believe and promote the idea that our nation is built on the foundational myths of the founding fathers who they say were only greedy for financial gain. They changed the story of the Statue of Liberty to promoting open immigration instead of celebrating the emancipation of freeing the slaves. They foolishly imagine a world with no nations or religion. All of this is promoting a revolution that will lead to poverty, death, and despair. God will not be mocked! He will not be limited by the imaginations of those who despise Him. Today, we remember with gratitude, the fruit of the gospel of Jesus Christ who has created the freedom and safety of these United States.
