people gather and be the first to enter
thinking only of themselves

why this man?
why not everybody?

the great Biblical phrase
God Helps Those Who Help Themselves
do you want to be made well?
well I have this plan
I’ve made arrangements with...
unless we have no hope
unless we acknowledge that we are lost
if we have hope in anything else, Jesus will say have a good day and keep on walking
do you want to be made well?
yes, but I have no hope
God’s Grace
undeserved, unearned, unmerited, gift of God
this man was in need
God’s Grace said get up, lift up your bed and walk

gave him new legs to run and jump
new legs to climb and skip and dance
new legs to change his life completely
now can help others, bring others to Jesus
tell of what has happened to him

there is no back up plan
get this bed out of here.
you don’t need it anymore
no leaving a little hidden some where just in case
when we are saved we are a new creation
when we get saved God starts to change us into Christlikeness
just like this man we cant change ourselves, Jesus is the one that makes us walk
if this man lying there on his mat not able to move, said, Jesus healed me, that person would be a liar.
so is a person that says he is saved and not living the truth
Sin No More
sin just gets us into trouble
gets us hurt
sin eventually kills us
God does not want us to sin because he makes the rules and that is what he wants
no God does not want us to sin because sin hurts us
Conclusion
Jesus sought out this cripple man knowing he needed Gods Grace
asked him do you want to be made well?
what things are we struggling with in this life?
do you want to be made well?
have you come to the point that you know, unless Jesus heals you you wont be?
if you say I have a plan..
Gods grace is available to you
