When we look at the story of Abraham bargaining with God over the sinful cities of Sodom and Gomorrah in Genesis chapter 18, and the account of Jesus teaching his disciples to pray in Luke 11, we see a common thread: pray with boldness! God wants us to trust him and to pray persistently, with an expectation of God's good answer. Our Father wants to give us good gifts. So children of God, be encouraged to boldly ask, seek and knock... with chutzpah!
