Your Purpose Revealed

God has created us for His purpose
We are His workmanship, garden, house, habitat.
We have to know what He has made us for, and what He has put in us in Christ.
Ephesians 2:10
Ephesians 2:10 CSB
For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared ahead of time for us to do.
2 Corinthians 4:7-18
2 Corinthians 4:7–18 CSB
Now we have this treasure in clay jars, so that this extraordinary power may be from God and not from us. We are afflicted in every way but not crushed; we are perplexed but not in despair; we are persecuted but not abandoned; we are struck down but not destroyed. We always carry the death of Jesus in our body, so that the life of Jesus may also be displayed in our body. For we who live are always being given over to death for Jesus’s sake, so that Jesus’s life may also be displayed in our mortal flesh. So then, death is at work in us, but life in you. And since we have the same spirit of faith in keeping with what is written, I believed, therefore I spoke, we also believe, and therefore speak. For we know that the one who raised the Lord Jesus will also raise us with Jesus and present us with you. Indeed, everything is for your benefit so that, as grace extends through more and more people, it may cause thanksgiving to increase to the glory of God. Therefore we do not give up. Even though our outer person is being destroyed, our inner person is being renewed day by day. For our momentary light affliction is producing for us an absolutely incomparable eternal weight of glory. So we do not focus on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
1 Corinthians 3:9-15
1 Corinthians 3:9–15 CSB
For we are God’s coworkers. You are God’s field, God’s building. According to God’s grace that was given to me, I have laid a foundation as a skilled master builder, and another builds on it. But each one is to be careful how he builds on it. For no one can lay any other foundation than what has been laid down. That foundation is Jesus Christ. If anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, or straw, each one’s work will become obvious. For the day will disclose it, because it will be revealed by fire; the fire will test the quality of each one’s work. If anyone’s work that he has built survives, he will receive a reward. If anyone’s work is burned up, he will experience loss, but he himself will be saved—but only as through fire.
Philemon 1:6
Philemon 6 CSB
I pray that your participation in the faith may become effective through knowing every good thing that is in us for the glory of Christ.
Knowing who we are in Christ, and what He has made us.
We are His workmanship made for good works. Created by and for.
He is the gardener that brings out what we have in us.
We must cooperate with the process...
Acknowledging the good things in us...
Got to know them. Our responsibility is to study, meditate, pray.
Acknowledge them
Don’t acknowledge those things that the world, the flesh, you emotions, and the devil have told you.
Our potential is within, must be uncovered by a process. Growth process. Process...
Knowledge, Acknowledgment, Action...
Pressure testing…the pressure helps us know where we are and removes obstacles, dross, coal covering.
Your purpose gets revealed as you go thru the process and allow it to work out. Our unique gift gets revealed and refined.
Humility is a key. Pride is an enemy. If you can’t take correction, you can’t handle promotion. Submission to authority is a real problem for us. It comes from a lack of trust. Repelling of off the wall.
Pressure comes from people as well as circumstances. God uses people, so the devil uses people so we get hurt, offended, bitter and don’t trust people, but God uses people to help us grow, so we have to get over it.
Rough edges or diamond in the rough
Don’t let your emotions over rule your intelligence
Don’t let pressure define you let it refine you!
This is a process and it keeps working even when we miss it.
Mercy, Grace, Forgiveness. Recognize what comes out under pressure and deal with it.
Holy Spirit is our helper...
Our weakness is opportunity for His strength...
Remember He is the potter, we are the clay.
Remember He is the potter, we are the clay.
