Introduction

2 Corinthians 5:14–21 ESV
14 For the love of Christ controls us, because we have concluded this: that one has died for all, therefore all have died; 15 and he died for all, that those who live might no longer live for themselves but for him who for their sake died and was raised. 16 From now on, therefore, we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we once regarded Christ according to the flesh, we regard him thus no longer. 17 Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. 18 All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation. 20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God. 21 For our sake he made him to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
The oldest parts of Tbe Bible (the first 5 books were written as long ago as 3,500 tears

Jeremiah and Issiah prophisied the end to Babylon
Jeremiah 50:9 ESV
9 For behold, I am stirring up and bringing against Babylon a gathering of great nations, from the north country. And they shall array themselves against her. From there she shall be taken. Their arrows are like a skilled warrior who does not return empty-handed.
Jeremiah 51:36 ESV
36 Therefore thus says the Lord: “Behold, I will plead your cause and take vengeance for you. I will dry up her sea and make her fountain dry,

Secular History
The eurphraties river went under the city
siris the keeg of the meeds and the persions redirected the river to cause it to go into a bason and marched his troops under the wall of the city
When that happened the babylonians were drunk and feasting
and the city was taken
Theese are just two examples of prophesy yet every single prophicy found in the scripture took place
The dead sea scrolls backed up what the Bible says
They are surely one of the greatest discoveries in modern times
They are surely one of the greatest discoveries in modern times
They are divided into two categories Biblical and non Biblical
Fregments of every book of the Hebrew cannon were found
The Issiah scroll found relitivly intact is 1000 years older than any previously know coppy making them the oldest group of the old testement found

Dead sea Scrolls-
Canonicity
The cannon is the 66 books in our Bible and our the only inspired books
The word cannon comes from greek and herbrew words that litterally means a measuring rod. Therfore canonicity describes the standard that books had to meet to be reconized as scripture
To determine the cannon Scholers gathered together at church councils in the first several ceturies for the puropse of officially reconizing books as inspired they simply reconized what God had already determined
Tests of Cannonicity
The Test of Divine Insperation-Does it claim to be divinely inspired? Is it inspired
THe test of Human authorship-Is the book Written by an accredited agent of God such as a prophet, christ, or one of His apposles If not, did the writer have the gift of prophecy (David, Daniel) or a relation to a prophet or an apostle (Mark, Luke) that would raise his book to the level of their writings? Can the book be traced back to the time and/or the writer from who it professes to have come?
The Test of Authenticity
The Test of Authenticity
Is the book factually true? It is noteworthy that Bible authors did not use the false
philosophical and scientific opinions of their times.
have the gift of prophecy (David, Daniel) or a relation to a prophet or an apostle (Mark, Luke) that would raise his book to the level of their writings? Can the book be traced back to the time and/or the writer from who it professes to have come?
The Test of Testimony
The Test of Testimony
Was the book universally recognized by the Jews and/or by the Christian church as being God's Word? Does the Holy Spirit bear witness to the regenerated reader that the book is His Word?
The Test of Agreement
Does the book agree doctrinally with the teachings of known canonical books? While there is progression in the Bible's revelation of doctrine, there is no contradiction. Is the content of the book of such spiritual character that it is in harmony with the dignity and majesty of God?
The appocropha also does not pass the test of cannoncity.

This was the Old testement,

There is enough in the Old testement to become a believer.
