2 Corinthians 8:1-5 (NLT) 8 Now I want you to know, dear brothers and sisters, what God in his kindness has done through the churches in Macedonia.

2 They are being tested by many troubles, and they are very poor.

But they are also filled with abundant joy, which has overflowed in rich generosity.

3 For I can testify that they gave not only what they could afford, but far more.

And they did it of their own free will.

4 They begged us again and again for the privilege of sharing in the gift for the believers in Jerusalem.

5 They even did more than we had hoped, for their first action was to give themselves to the Lord and to us, just as God wanted them to do.

2 Corintios 8:1-5 (NTV) 8 Ahora quiero que sepan, amados hermanos, lo que Dios, en su bondad, ha hecho por medio de las iglesias de Macedonia.

2 Estas iglesias están siendo probadas con muchas aflicciones y además son muy pobres; pero a la vez rebosan de abundante alegría, la cual se desbordó en gran generosidad.

3 Pues puedo dar fe de que dieron no solo lo que podían, sino aún mucho más.

Y lo hicieron por voluntad propia.

4 Nos suplicaron una y otra vez tener el privilegio de participar en la ofrenda para los creyentes de Jerusalén.

5 Incluso hicieron más de lo que esperábamos, porque su primer paso fue entregarse ellos mismos al Señor y a nosotros, tal como Dios quería.

(GRACE): means: A DIVINE INFLUENCE IN OUR LIVES THAT FINDS OUTWARD MANIFESTATION.

(GRACIA): significa: UNA INFLUENCIA DIVINA EN NUESTRAS VIDAS QUE ENCUENTRA LA MANIFESTACIÓN EXTERIOR.

(JESUS): said: WHERE A PERSON'S TREASURE IS, THERE IS HIS HEART ALSO.

(JESÚS): dijo: DONDE ESTÁ EL TESORO DE UNA PERSONA, TAMBIÉN ESTÁ ALLI SU CORAZÓN.

2 Corinthians 8:7 (NLT) 7 Since you excel in so many ways in your faith, your gifted speakers, your knowledge, your enthusiasm, and your love from us I want you to excel also in this gracious act of giving.
