The parable of the Good Samaritan is well known, but the extreme prejudices and stunning act of grace and mercy from a Samaritan to a Jew might be lost on modern society. The actions of Brandt Jean, who forgave his brother's murderer with a hug in court, might be the best example of this kind of forgiveness.
