The Lord's prayer has also been callled the disciple's prayer. It is a cooperation with God and Us. We are participants with Him in His mission for the world and His mission with us. It is a participle not a noun! We are in a perpetual conversation with the Lord about His ministry. Our participation means we grow in Him and participate with Him in His mission.

“Whenever you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites, because they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by people. Truly I tell you, they have their reward.
Matthew 6:
The Lord is Good and His faithful love endures forever. This phrase including “His faithful love endures forever” is in the Bible 132 X
26 of those times are in where the phrase is repeated in worship!

Praying With the Lord Brings An Assurance for Believers

Matthew 6:11–12 CSB

He is a provider! He is a forgiver!!!! Our response in forgiving others fulfills the command of Christ and is a worship to him.

Praying with the Lord Involves Success in Combat

Matthew 6:13 CSB
And do not bring us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one.
Do Not bring us into Temptation.....is a REMINDER that HE NEVER DOES!
James 1:13–15 CSB
No one undergoing a trial should say, “I am being tempted by God,” since God is not tempted by evil, and he himself doesn’t tempt anyone. But each person is tempted when he is drawn away and enticed by his own evil desire. Then after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin, and when sin is fully grown, it gives birth to death.
James

Praying with the Lord is an Opportunity for Perpetual Worship

THIS SERMON IS BEING DEVELOPED...... may be appropriate for
Colossians 4:2–6 CSB
Devote yourselves to prayer; stay alert in it with thanksgiving. At the same time, pray also for us that God may open a door to us for the word, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am in chains, so that I may make it known as I should. Act wisely toward outsiders, making the most of the time. Let your speech always be gracious, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you should answer each person.
