It is a participle not a noun! We are in a perpetual conversation with the Lord about His ministry. Our participation means we grow in Him and participate with Him in His mission.

He is a provider! He is a forgiver!!!! Our response in forgiving others fulfills the command of Christ and is a worship to him.
