Morning. We are in Hebrews chapter 8 today.

We have been. digging into Hebrews and it has been Arrow just a phenomenal for me. I've really enjoyed this. Developing sermons and studying and and seeing where the preacher the book of Hebrews takes you back to the Old Testament and in really is showing you where the plan for Jesus Christ to be the savior of the world was evident from the beginning. I'm in and it's just been this really neat. I don't know study trip. I don't know how you want to describe it, but it is Journey, but it's been been fascinating for me and then just really enjoy won't so I thank you for the opportunity to do that. Let's go ahead and dive right into Hebrews chapter 8 a little shorter read than Hebrews chapter 7 was as far as number versus but not any less powerful or any less significance. What's go ahead and Dive Right In? Chapter 8 verse 1 and what we are saying is this we have such a high priest one who is seated at the right hand of the Throne of the Majesty in heaven a minister in the holy places in the true tent that the Lord set up not man. For every high priest is appointed to offer gifts and sacrifices us. It is necessary for this priest to also have something to offer. Now if we were if you were here on Earth, it would not be a priest at all. Since there are priests who offer gifts according to the law. They serve a copy and Shadow of the Heavenly things Moses was about to wreck the tent. He was instructed by God saying see that you make everything according to the pattern that was shown you on the mountain. But as it is Crisis obtained a Ministry that is as much that is as much more excellent than the old as the Covenant. He mediates is better since it has enacted on better promises were the first Covenant had been faultless. There wouldn't have been no occasion to look for a second. Brie finds fault with him when he says behold the days are coming declares the Lord when I will establish a New Covenant in the house of Israel and in the house of Judah not like the Covenant that I made with their fathers on the on the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt. They did not continue in my Covenant. And so I showed no concern for them to Claire's the Lord for this is the Covenant that I make that I will make with the house of Israel after those days to close the Lord. I'll put my laws into their minds and I'll write them in on their hearts and I will be their God and they shall be my people. Make sure not teach each one. His neighbor and each one is brother saying know the Lord for they shall all know me from the least of them to the greatest for I will be merciful toward their iniquities and I will remember their sins no more and speaking of a New Covenant. He makes the first one Obsolete and what is becoming obsolete and growing old is ready to vanish away. Would you buy with me please?

Father we thank you for your word. We thank you that we can be here in this time to hear your word father asked it as we get ready to dive in and we hear the sermon that you would speak to her heart. She would move and I'll see what convictus you would challenge us through the hearing of your word and I pray Lord that you put me aside that this be you and not me that that all of this that is this year was was given to us through the inspiration of the Holy Spirit to this author and father. I pray that you would illuminate our hearts. What the holy spirit is saying to us today through this this in Jesus name, I pray amen.

Throughout the whole book of Hebrews. It's it's kind of like the author hear the preacher here has been setting up this case. He's been sitting up president after president after president or getting to what he's wanting to get at here in the last chunks of Hebrews will first chunky said, you know, Jesus is better than the angels and here's why and he said out that whole person after that. Then Jesus is better than Moses and Joshua he brings up Joshua in that section 2 about Jesus being better than Moses. And Jesus is better than that wall that Joshua and Moses brought to us and Jesus is better than the priesthood and Jesus is better than he's bringing all these things about him here in chapter 8, he's kind of getting down to brass tacks. Is teaching us that Jesus Christ brings into the better and Superior priesthood and a better Superior Covenant the old Covenant pointed to this and the Earthly priesthood. Under the Jewish established system pointed to this as well and we're always think about that. But that's that's what he's he's driving out here that it's always pointing us to Jesus a better system to come to the first one. He says now the point in what we are saying is this to everything up to this point been building up to here right is it's been building the case at the New Covenant. Jesus is better than the old Covenant of the law. Jesus is seated at the right hand of the father Ministry ring still on our behalf. First one when the when the preacher uses the phrases of like uses the phrase the majesty and Heaven he's using a term. That means god most high here. He's referring to Jesus being with God at the right hand. Is ministering on our behalf in the holiest of the Holy temples not one made by the hands of man under the direction of God, but one made by the hand of God himself and that's important. He talks about Moses and a tent here, right the Tabernacle the word Tabernacle just funny where we put it in a steam, but if you literally translated out a means tent Like that, it's the 10th, but it was more than just the 10th. You know, it was when Moses build a he was given some very specific instructions and Deuteronomy on how to build this thing and then the walls of the thing this it's a ten like we don't understand. You know, I've been I've seen big tent I've been to Big circuses I've seen places where they put on him know where they're out in Phoenix years and years ago and basically my grandmother who decided it would be fun to take us to an Indian casino, but you didn't realize is it my brother and I worked 21 and so we couldn't go into had to sit out in the hot sun in a parking lot waiting for Grandma to play or nickel slot is a miserable experience for us. But they had basically a tent put up in this Indian reserve. They had an air conditioning unit that inflated it and it covered about two football fields in width and a football field in depth and that's how big this tent. What is a Big Ten? It's impressive but it's not as impressive as the Tabernacle was the tabernacle was was laid out in a specific manner in which worship of God could be there and he could be present in the Tabernacle and talked to Moses and end in talk to the priest. He was present there. But the 10th the author of the book of Hebrews is talking about here is superior to that. It's not an Earthly tent it's not an Earthly throne room. It's not it's it's Heaven on high. It's direct presents. The Majesty of God and Jesus is right there.

An inverse three were reminded that that all the priests by law at offer up gifts of Thanksgiving an offer up sacrifices in hi Kris were then required to offer tommen sacrifices. Like what he says you're for every high priest has appointed off of these. It is necessary for this priest to have something to offer.

Jesus is something offer was himself. High priests were required to make the atonement offering. And Jesus did and it paid for it all one shot. They did every year I think last week. I used to the the example of the kid in class looking through his little school calendar book and Sprout. What's Yom Kippur that's a weird one. You know what I explained to him. That's the leading up to the day of atonement and how that all works as a Jewish holiday and the priest would make those atonement payments annually because it didn't satisfy the wrath of God. Jesus offered himself and all of the Wrath was satisfied in that one moment.

Verse for, Texas back to chapter 7 reminding us the Jesus is not our high priest according to the Mosaic law. But according to the power and authority of God the Father. This morning and in small group we were talking about this idea of milk is a deck again as we were reviewing Hebrews chapter 7 in and my goodness we spent a lot of time chapters 5 6 and 7 are all about this priest Melchizedek who shows up in Genesis chapter 14 for a blip and then shows up in Psalm 110 is his David's writing a Messianic Prophecy of the end poem in in Psalm 110. And then he shows up again and Hebrews chapters 5 6 and 7. And in as we talked about that that that it was his idea that all of the priests prior. Prior to Jesus except for Melchizedek. He's easing unique case, but all these priests pride of Jesus were priests only because her daddy's were I had no real other reason to be a priest there. Dad was a priest the Granddad was a priest that great. Grandad was a priest so I made them a priest. and even if they didn't want to be a priest you had to be a priest. There wasn't there wasn't a way out of that was just how worked and we see that through scripture. We see where priests failed often to be a high priest you had to be descended specifically from Erin Wright and in Moses's brother and Aaron fail, we were we talked about that this morning and small-group a little bit. We're in a Aron gathers up all the golden and he comes the guide afterwards and there's a cow and who I don't know how that got there, And I I just I took the gold and put it in the fire not pop the cow. And so we thought we were supposed to worship Don't Lie To God Aaron don't you made a cow to worship as the priests of God? Stupid don't do that. You know, I don't have Fitbit as men we fail mankind fails we are sinful in our nature. We we don't want to do the things were rebellious. We don't want to be about what God wants us to be about and we see that even in the priesthood. But Jesus is priesthood is different. In in chapter 7 talks about he's a priest by an oath of God God declaring him a priest and that is more powerful than any lineage could ever be that he is he is a priest of the god most high because of the power and authority of God the Father. And the fact that he's the son, you know, that doesn't hurt either when you're the second person in the Trinity you get to do that, but he's still surrenders to the will of the father as the second person of the Trinity will ask me to explain it. I just know it's true. I'm just going to be honest with you on that one. I can explain it. I know it's true. I wish I could but I can't it's just too much for me to handle sometimes.

Bruce V tells us that the priests of the Old Testament serving in the temple and in the Tabernacle and as a copy and a shadow of God's true Heavenly Temple where Jesus ministers on our behalf. this idea of a copy and Shadow happens all throughout the Old Testament where everything is is this

how to describe a kind of in this

Twilight shadow puppets or being in a dark cave in a dark fire-lit cave you don't really see the actual objects what you see are the Shadows the objects cast. With what we see in the Old Testament. It is much like that that we don't really see God in Christ there. We see the shadow they cast from their light and so it's it's just as shadowing the what is yet to come into Jesus serves better than that because he's not a shadow. He's the real thing. And they they ministrar en el mapa have soap to the priests of the Old Testament. We're serving in the temple in the Tabernacle and they were this copy. There was a shadow.

It was a shadow of God's true Heavenly Temple or Jim's Jesus ministers on our behalf. The Tabernacle in the temple were good.

And we think about that. They were these good places. There were these places to worship that were important but the Throne of God or Jesus is at the right hand is exceedingly better than both of those. That's hard to understand like there are good things here on Earth. It feel amazing that seem perfect that seem beyond our scope sometimes

folks have been posting a lot of pictures on social media through Instagram Facebook of of the fog coming off ponds or Creeks within the last few mornings and you just look at it. There's the sunrise in the it has just amazing and it just beautiful.

God recreates it all when it's all his again. It'll even be better. Was those moments of I can't believe I get to see this witness this the God has created this on my behalf so that I can see if he's ministering to my soul through whatever this moment is. It'll be better in heaven with Jesus. It is hard to Fathom that but that's what that's what this is. All of this has been a shadow of what is yet to come. the Covenant that comes with that priesthood is exceedingly better than anything the Old Testament had to offer is good and glorious as the Old Testament was as good as good as the law was. What Jesus has to offer is exceedingly better than all of that? sweetlees, first five verses of this chunk

show us that Jesus is the superior high priest here. We see him seated at the right hand of the father giving him an exalted status above the Earthly priesthood the right hand. It is a is a phrase. We see a lot in Scripture. If someone were to sit at the right hand of any King in Scripture that typically meant you are my direct servant. If you say it, that's as good as it coming from me. And Jesus is at the right hand of God the Father. He's right. There. He is serving God.

at all times right there ever present Is that idea that ever-present always doing what he supposed to be doing right there? an end to be exalted to that point that's that's beyond comprehension for some of us and it said that seat. It says right there that Jesus continues his work as Redeemer and as mediator for his people Jesus died. Once the atonement was paid once but the ministry of redemption in the ministry of mediation between us and God still continues on. Jesus is still drawing people to him for salvation. He died wants to pay for it, but he's still bringing people to him. That Ministry continues as you and I need someone between us and God because of our our sinful nature. Jesus is still doing that on our behalf.

Amazing what he's doing here? We we also see Jesus in these first 5 verses serving in a superior Tabernacle serving in a superior. Temple one built by God's own hands. Betting out of the argument made here in verses 3 through 5 is is pretty interesting. He the other the preacher here the author here, he starts kind of detailing out the Roland job of the levitical priests the priests of the Old Testament. Every priest has appointed to offer gifts and sacrifices. That's it is necessary for the priests have something to offer. Any kind of gets in inverse for since there are priests who offer gifts according to the law. There was a certain way to had to do it.

And in any she's talking about this details us out. Those priests could not come into the Tabernacle empty-handed. They could not come into the temple in Jerusalem empty-handed. They had to have something to offer.

I had to have a sacrifice they had to have a grain offering to had to have a wine offering something there. Jesus isn't the same kind of prices they were. They were Earthly priest bringing an Earthly sacrifices to an Earthly Temple. That was a holy place. I'm not saying it wasn't but they were Earthly. men of earth sacrifices of Earth Temple built of Earth Attempt built of earth when was the Tabernacle Jesus is a Heavenly priest who brought in a Heavenly sacrifice himself. to a Heavenly Temple and there's makes every part of his priesthood Superior to any Earthly priest. Superior to any of that see us as we start to move out of verses 1 through 5 we moved from talking about the priesthood into talking about the Covenant the superiority of the New Covenant over the old Covenant and in this is this is tricky as As a church, we don't talk about covenants a lot. The Bible is a book, especially the Old Testament of Covenant and and I've heard that heard so many things talk about world's like a contract. Well no contract about the closest thing. We really have two covenants and it unfortunately talk about the marriage covenant now, but I honestly, I filled out the paperwork to marry people. It's a contract. I hate to say it. That way. There should be a covenant between the couple thing. This is till we're dead, but that's not how it works. It's sadly not. a covenant is this

agreement that you enter into that is deep that it is at the heart of who you are and it has he talked about this old Covenant versus this New Covenant. This was an important topic to talk to an audience who was mostly Jewish followers of Christ. They would have understood this idea of Covenant. They would have known Covenant from back at Noah. There's a covenant God made with Noah. I'm going to redeem the Earth through you and your family line and I'm going to make another coming up with you that says I'm never going to flood this place again, right? Then there would have been a covenant with Abraham. I'm going to make you a great nation and in from your great nation all other nations will be blessed number the stars in the sky and your descendants will be greater. That was another Covenant. The thing is that you and I as people can break it. But when God makes a covenant with us, he doesn't break it because he is truth and he is honest and he's just all of this and that coming it doesn't get broken. But that Covenant is an important piece here. The Covenant he made was I will make you my people we see that through scripture. So I will be your God and you will be my people that is the ultimate Covenant of the Old Testament or the ways that you my people show everyone else. You are my people and I am your God and that's what the law was. It was designed to set Israel apart from everybody else. You don't do these things cuz that's what the moloch worshippers do. That's what the Canaanites do. That's what the Philistines if you don't do these things. You don't do these things you do do these things and and it was it was a different set up. To set them apart to make them unique among the world to show that the Lord God Almighty. Yahweh. God was their God and they are his people.

It's an understanding that that was the old Covenant but there's this a new covenant and its Superior. This would have been a moment of of what we call in and education cognitive dissonance or things just don't want to click in your head you ever had one of those you have one of those moments where you look at something you go. I know what I'm supposed to think I know about this but you've just proved me wrong and now I got to reconcile this out and I got to figure this out. That's what's happening here with the preacher in Hebrews that old Covenant that you know, Don't work. This new one does and it'll never quit working and let me show you why. Is what he's kind of going into.

So he uses this term most excellent in verse 6. That's a great phrase and he uses that term because the New Covenant is based on better promises now, wait a second. How how can there be a better promise that we will be your people and I will be your God from the god of creation. Well, the problem was the old Covenant the law did not and could not save you from your sin. It couldn't do it. You can keep every one of those laws. And it wouldn't save you from your sin. You think of the Rich Young Ruler who came to Jesus? Why do I have to be to be saved? And he says all these things. Well, I've kept all those laws. Are you still not save? This is kind of acknowledge that you're still not saved. How about you sell everything you have and give it to the poor and come take up the cross and follow me. I'm going to go away sad now, right? You didn't make it the old covenant could not and did not save you from sin. It was able to expose your sin. It was able to draw conviction of your sin, but it could not save from sin the Covenant that Jesus mediates saves from sing. That's a better promise. R7 reiterate cyst if the old Covenant was perfect. There would have been no need for a New Covenant in Jesus Christ. Write the fault in imperfection. The old Covenant wasn't like it was broken and it needed a pair. It wasn't a machine, you know, the check engine light did not come on. It's not what was happening with the old Covenant. It was faulty because it was incomplete. It wasn't final. It could not provide the final sacrifice that was needed to pay at omint once and for all

That only comes through Jesus Christ.

Can we get into verses 8 through 12 and if you're if you're if you're Note Taker and you were right in the margin your bibles are you scratch down notes take a little note. I'm going to write down Jeremiah 31 31 through 34.

If you don't mind writing in the margins of your Bibles, I know some folks like to do that some folks know that's a that's a personal choice flip back to Jeremiah 31 31 through 34 and write Hebrews 8 8 or 12 cuz I'm cuz what's happening here and Hebrews 8 8 through 12. Is that the preacher is quoting directly from Jeremiah 31 31 through 34.

We read that scripture to start a worship service this morning. Genesis Messianic promise or prophecy given by the Prophet Jeremiah from God to the people in a proclaimed the future coming of the Messiah. and it provides the reason that the people

and Israel needed a messiah. They were Wayward and they wandered away from God. They broke the Covenant now, this is a one-sided Covenant. It wasn't like the people visual approach God and said Hey, can we be be your people and you be our God? Turn out worked out got approached them. You're my people. I'm your guide do this to show it. They broke the Covenant. Over and over and over and over and over any study of the Old Testament shows you how repeatedly the people of Israel broke the Covenant any good in-depth study of the Old Testament to show you. Your own waywardness your own Rebellion against God and your own sinful nature because we're no different than they were. We've got hindsight, but we don't have Insight sometimes into ourselves.

It proclaims the future coming of the Messiah the people that broke the Covenant they'd wandered away from God. They were unfaithful to a faithful God. Just as we are before Jesus Christ. We are unfaithful.

So what I look at it, especially in the context of of the book of Hebrews. I look at verses 8 through 12. Is this beautiful presentation of the Gospel? God has a perfect law. There's a perfect and holy and just God has a perfect law. And and he sees a rebellious people and we are rebellious people. We see the works of God all around us. Yeah, we turn away from his ways. And we do things our own way.

God loves his rebellious and Wayward creation. Any any loves us anyway, and he loves us In Spite of Ourselves.

No matter how hard we try to follow and Obey God's rules. We can't do it unless he does it through us. And that's that's the truth of that. We were in small group this morning were talking about it and in some regards. We read through the book of Hebrews and we see that this is a great way to combat while Paul calls the judaizers these folks that wanted to make people follow all the Jewish rules before coming to know Christ. But in some way the modern Evangelical Church, the modern Protestant church has become a little judaizers ourselves. We we have created are in ourselves a a manner of Judaism. So to speak in that bit of churches at 10:45. I got to be there. And I got a I got to make sure I'm in a small group. I got to make sure I walk a mile and pray a prayer and get wet. I got a fault. There's all these Unwritten written rules. We think we need to follow. And we try to do all of this stuff in our own power.

I just I just wonder if Jesus is just shaking his head on foolish disciples every time something like that happens.

Because it's him in us that makes us want those things. It's not like praying a prayer and dropping a check in a plate is going to get me any closer to Salvation than anybody else. It doesn't do it. B&N in church on Sunday morning at 10:45 doesn't bring me any closer to Salvation. Then the guy who's on a bass boat right now. Just be honest with you. Is Christ working a change in my life me surrendering to him?

but doesn't no matter how hard we try to follow the law and Obey God's rules. We can't do it. Unless Christ does it through us? He will write the law in our hearts and our minds man. It's him putting it there.

Summerguard this constant no amount of scripture Memory from when you were a kid and vacation bible schools going to get you any closer either.

He will write it there. He will call us out of our rebellious ways and he will call us unto himself. He is giving us a new way. And that way is through Jesus Christ. No other way gets us there this Covenant does something the old covenant could not do This Covenant will make God forget our sin. The old Covenant would not do that. If it could do that. There would have been one day of atonement in the Jewish calendar. It would have been marked and it would have never come up again.

Not how it works every year it would go back to that one day of atonement but not just every year. They would go back to the Monday and tell me the priests would take sacrifices daily.

Sunrise to sunset they were making sacrifices trying to pay for the sin in the lives of the people of Israel.

daily sunrise to sunset and it didn't do it. They made continual prayer Irma continual sacrifices daily day-in-day-out not because not only the people send as soon as they be handed over the sacrifice. But because God remember the previous sent as well. We are surrendered to cry. So we say Jesus you clean me up. There's nothing I can do to get clean enough to be a part of you. There's nothing I can do in my own power to be a believer in Jesus tube to be to be good enough to Warrant salvation. There's nothing I can do when I say Jesus you just take it. I cleaned out the him. the sacrifice he made nothing that I can do the sacrifice he made of himself paid for our sin. That's satisfied God's Wrath and it means that God will forget our sin doesn't mean we're going to stop sending though. Would not be nice. We will not be greater than I swear it over to Jesus and now I'm good. No, I'm going to need to continue to surrender. I'm going to need to the focus on him regular. I'm going to need to surrender daily. I'm going to need to figure out ways to get sent out of my life. Paul says it's a it's a repeating process of killing the old man, I guess in some regard us to try. The only time murder is okay in scripture murder the old sinful nature in yourself, kill it big the spirit to kill it in you. Char greatest problem is sin. There's there's a ton of problems in the world. We have friends in Ecuador who been begging us to pray for them as as some things have gone on and and the government change some policies and literal. They barricaded all the major highways in the country of Ecuador and they went to a general strike and people were burning buses and semi-trucks to block highways because the fuel prices tripled overnight and some places. These are people that make about 350 to $400 a year on an average is a country and ever pan almost the same prices for a gallon of gas as we do here in the states. Best tough chili just now I read last night as is it as I was. Heading to bed the same thing happened in the in the country of Chile Santiago is is burning right now because it's similar actions. Our government has taken. Apparently they didn't watch a northern neighbor. I don't know what happened with that. We see that we we see the issue in Syria. We see see. Afghanistan, we see their problems all over the world that are heartbreaking.

But sin is our greatest problem.

Send keeps us from a relationship with the god of creation who wishes to be in a relationship with us.

Arson, and God's holiness cannot be together. They're incompatible completely.

God made a promise to bring about reconciliation to a fallen people through a mediator could bring a new and Superior Covenant. Jesus Christ is that mediator and Nat is what chapter 8 his teaching is here.

Jesus in Jesus, we see all the promises of the new and Superior Covenant fulfilled Mercy was provided us because Jesus died in our place. My sin means I should die.

Not just a physical death, but a spiritual death and Jesus said now I'll die so he doesn't have to.

Those who surrender their lives to him are hidden in him forever. By their faith by the repentance the New Covenant promises are brought to God's people through Jesus. Look at it chapter 8 that's what it's teaching us. But there is this gospel message of us being a sinful rebellious people. And the God saw that from the beginning he knew we were going to be provided a way for us to see our own Senator lives to convictus of our own sin and then provided a way to draw us to him in Jesus Christ. What if you're a Believer today? Praise him for that.

Praise him for that adore God for that alone. But don't forget that it is an urgent Time and which we should carry that message out.

I looked around the world around us tonight, and I have to just sometimes think Maranatha come Lord Jesus. Come soon.

Don't tarry any longer. But if if I'm praying that come Lord Jesus come soon. Am I praying it selfishly for me to get out of this mess?

And I'll tell you what if I'm not sharing this message of the Gospel regularly with people I am.

Because I'm trying to come Lord Jesus come soon. And I mean that in my heart, but I'm not sharing the gospel message of Jesus. I'm then saying but it's okay to condemn those folks to hell.

And that should not be in my heart. Should be in my heart that they are image bearers of God who need Jesus Christ as much as I do.

Honestly, they need it worse now that I have him and I should be taking that message out Church of we're not doing that. We're failing in our mission.

A recent Pew study, but I just read this weekend. The numbers of folks claiming any kind of religious affiliation in the United States is declining quickly.

It's our fault.

Not just Calvary Heights is full bar Fall Capital City big church. Big Christianity is our fault. Or not as individuals taking the gospel message to people we know need to hear the gospel message. We're not properly praying for those who are lost.

And we wonder why we're in moral decay. Cuz we've allowed it.

If we have the Cure. permanent death

and all the suddenly become anti-vaxxers and we don't believe in vaccinating people against it cuz we don't carry the message of Jesus Christ in the gospel to those who need don't be those folks. I'm not saying this to y'all as much as I'm saying it to me. I'm as guilty as everybody else. I don't share when I when I look at what I'm saying here. I'm not sharing this messages as often as I should. I'm not looking for opportunities to share the gospel the way I should. I failed before my goddamn for this church and sharing the gospel appropriately and as often as I should. I'm repenting begging your forgiveness as I beg God's forgiveness and encouraging you to join me and doing it more often.

That's a call to action today. If you're a believer in Christ.

Share what he's done in your life. Share the gospel message share the truth. With those you know who are lost. I saw a post on social media this weekend. But yes, Jesus hung out with prostitutes and tax collectors and and drunkards but it's amazing how they didn't stay that way when he hung out with them. It was life change.

The gospel is dirty. Living it is dirty sharing. It's going to be dirty. We're going to hang out with some folks. We didn't necessarily want to hang out with.

Got to love on people who have different political views than us who may have different ideas about gender and sexuality than us.

If you don't like doing the things we like to do because we've been sheltered in work institutionalize inside of our church.

Doesn't mean we turned to them and do what they do. But we love them anyway. That's our call today. Take the gospel out. Preacher to yourselves so that you may Proclaim it to others. bow with me Father in Heaven, I thank you.

Thank you for convicting me.

I think you did I see where I fail. I'm thankful for New Covenant Jesus Christ, the the bring Salvation that the old covenant could not bring.

But I'm also thankful for conviction.

The draws me closer to you.

But I pray for myself that you would forgive me where I don't share the gospel the way I should but I don't live up to your expectations that I but I fail you. I pray Lord that all of us here to know you are walking with you are convicted in this in like manner.

father where we as a church individuals as well as big church Universal. Are seeing a failure the present of of the presenting of the Gospel to those we need it either moving us change our hearts to that make it our desire to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ anywhere and with every opportunity.

Not let us turn a blind eye. The moments when we can share the gospel.

Father maybe there's there's somebody here who?

You just needs to say Jesus. I Surrender I give up. All the things that look good on paper, but I don't see or feel a change in my life.

We know it's not all is about the feelings. But we know that there is something that comes over us when we have you and you have surrendered to you that something is the holy spirit. It will change our lives. probably pray that there's somebody here who's who's feeling that tug that today not be the day they turn away. They jumped at the opportunity.

Father we thank you again and in love you and I see we continue to speak to us as we continue to worship you through one last song move our lives for the God in Jesus name.
