Acts 13:39 NKJV
39 and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.
acts
It is only by believing in what Jesus has done for you on the cross that you can be saved.

confess your sins to him and accept this free gift of salvation through the death buriel and resereaction of Jesus Christ!
believe that he has paid the price for your sins and you will be saved!

For those that are saved! Suit up! It’s Worth It!

Matt and I love to eat, I’m sure that was not hard to figure out! while Matt was a full time Pastor we would often meet for breakfast or lunch and end up staying for sevral hours talking about everthing from the bible to racing and everting in between. I’m sure that when the servers seen us coming at the little resturant in Poole they would sigh! im sure Matt doesnt remenber this one meeting in piticular but we were talking about revalations we got in a dissutions about the two wittnesses. How they would not be harmed while they were preaching until the time of their death. I made the statment that it would be nice to know that kind of life without fear of apreading the gospel, a knid of confused look came upon Matt’s face as he made this statment that has changed my outlook on my life as a servent of God. its was somthing I had known my whole Christian life but, had never been spoken into my life like Matt did that day. He said, “Brian, we we do have that!” it was a moment that God used for a wake up call on my life as a minister and a already seasoned pastor. It lead me into a sermon series on the Aror of God later on down the road that I think I got more out of it than my church did!
I wish I had time to go in depth with the armor of God with you tonight but time does not allow, so lets go over a brief review of it for the foundation of the message tonight!
Ephesians 6:10–13 NKJV
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.
ephesians 6:

YOU ARE NOT MY ENEMY, I AM NOT YOUR ENEMY!

First things fist we need to reconise who the our enemy is!
the real enemy here tonight is not flesh and blood. although Satan can use us against each other we are not the enemy!
put the blame were it needs to be!
Satan is our enemy!
If you are in a battle realize that even if you are fighing with flesh and blood they are not the real enemy here tonight!
don’t be a tool in the hand of the enemy to hurt those that we are called to love.
always remember that as I have forgoten that many times myself.
that is not to say to roll over and let people walk on you. We must stand for what is right in the eyes of God and fight but fight for truth! dont waist your time!
Satan loves to cause divitions among his people over the most stupod things!
Ephesians 6:14–17 NKJV
14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;
Ephesians 6:
The belt of Truth, a belt in armor is an important piece that binds the armor together. the truth is the binding ajent in our walk with God always seek the truth and stand on it. without it you will fall apart!
Breastplate of Righteousness, is crutial to your walk with God. just as a breastplate in armor protects your vitial organs, when we put on God’s righteousness through what Jesus has done for us we are covered by him and it protects our heart from coruption. to many of us are fooled by Satan that we can stand on our own righteousness and that is simply not true. we must put on his in order to stand against the enemy.
shoes of the gospel, we have to stand on the gospel of Jesus and realize that without it we have no footing to stand. I find it very fitting that the gospel is represented by that that gives us the ability to be mobil, repersenting that the gospel must keep moving forward, it doesn’t stop with you!
Shield of faith, without our faith all things are lost! we must always keep the faith as a sheild to protect us from the attacks of the enemy. it is the evedence of the things that the lost can not see and without it we cant do the work that God has called us to do.
helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, Salvation is what we are about. it gives us the confadence to stand in trial and reiulations knowing that we have the protection to stand and fight. it protects our minds from Satan trying to convince ua we are not worthy of God’s love and offer of his presence in heavan one day. remenber your savations is a gift frim God and not tied to you being worthy! the word of GOd is our weapon against him and a powerful one at that! never go to battle without it!
Now that we have that covered lets get to the heart of the messgage tonight!

FAITH AND WORKS ARE DEPENDENT ON ONE ANOTHER!

James 2:14–17 NKJV
14 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
James
If you want to be truly revived and walk closer to God, if you want to grow your faith in him and have a joy that only can come form God then you must go the work for the lord!
I’m not saying that all are called to go across the world or to travel thousands of miles although some are.
What I am saying is that if you want a true revival in your life and in our community, its going to take you doing your part to accomplish what God’s will is for our churches!
We must be willing to step out and be bold for God!
FEAR HAS NO PLACE IN THE ARMOR OF GOD!!
I don’t understand why most Christians treat our salvation as if it is something we need to protect when in fact it is meant to protect us!
It should give us the confedence to boldy procalim what God has done in our lives!
we should be willing to go out and help those that are less fortunate that us and share the love of Christ with them.
I’m not saying to use Jesus as a billy club on everyone you meet, I’m saying boldy love thise around you and be a light in their world.
sacrifice your and money to do what it takes to earn the right to share the Gospel with them.
itodays culture we have to earn the trust fro people before we can ever get close enough to share what Jesus has done foe us.
It’s going to take work, and in the process you wil find a renewed strength in your faith.
you will have a true revial in your live and if you do this as a body of believers you will exsperience a true revival in our community!
PEOPLE ARE DYING EVERY DAY AND GOING TO HELL WHILE WE SIT AND WONDER WHY OUR CHURCHES AREN’T GROWING, WHILE WE SIT IN OUR COMFORT LOOKING AT ONE ANOTHER AND TALKING ABOUT THE GOOD OLD DAYS AND WONDER WHY THEY DON’T COME ANYMORE.
God’s word doesn’t say he will send them to you but, it says for you to go to them!
Mark 16:15 NKJV
15 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
Mark 16:
Go!! Not wait for God to send them he is sending you to them!

WHY SHOULD I?

Why should I go and put myself at risk if its not required of me to do so to gain salvation?
This is what most Christians think even though we would never say it!
Me and mine and that’s fine! God will send someone more qualified than me!
I just don’t feel called to do that!
these are ecuses we use every day to not cary out what God has clearly called us to do!
we get comfortable and let Satan in to put a fear in us that cripples us from doing what he has comanded us to do!
LET ME REMIND YOU THAT YOU SHOULD NOT FEAR, YOU HAVE NOTHING TO LOOSE!
Romans 8:38–39 NKJV
38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8:38 NKJV
38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,
NOTHING CAN TAKE OR STEAL WHAT GOD HAS GIVEN YOU SO YOU HAVE NOTHING TO BE AFRAID OF WHEN IT COMES TO DOING THE WORK OF GOD!!
You ask why should I?
you have a great reward ahead of you.
there is not a creature on this planet that I would wish hell on!
A GREAT REWARD!
I want to tell you a story about two men. The first has lived his life safe in his salvation, he has always went to church and has lived a life that you would call a good life, he shared the gospel with his closest freinds and family but beyond that he didnt do much else. he treated his salvations as somthing that was breakable or in need of protection from the world. he tucked it away deep within him so no one could ever steal it! this man passed on and stood before the gates of glory and his name was written in the book of life. the gates opened up for him and he entered in with his armor on, it was shiny as if he had never seen a battle. he traded it in for a robe of white and took his place among the citizens of Heaven.
The second Man lived a life of trouble and strife but, he was also knew Jesus as his savior. he was always taking every opportunity to do what God had called him to do, some of the other “Christians” didn’t really care for him much because he was always hanging out with people they did not approve of and when he brought them to church they would think that they shouldn't be allowed to come after all look at what they have done! this man to passed, and as he made his way to the Gates a heavenly being met him there. he was dirty, could barley stand and his armor was beat and battered his should had a few holes in it and he looked a mess! he was all spent up and could not go any father! he used everything that God had gave him to its fullest ability!
as he stood there he said “ I’ve lived a hard life, and i have made several mistakes in my life, I have lost battles and I have won them to but needless I fought as hard as I could! I have ran as far as I can Go! I have kept the faith!
the Heavenly being said to him enter in tho the Joys of the Lord you have been faithful over a few things God is going to make yo ruler over many! as the gates opened up he found new strength in his legs! as he entered in he seen things that the human mind cannot comprehend. his armor had been replaced with a robe of pure white and his helmet had been replaced with many crowns that were full of jewels! all the saints were there to welcome him home and were all standing in his honor! as he approached the throne of God there stood Jesus! he immediately cast his crowns at his feet and fell to his face in worship! HE SAID” ALL OF THIS IS FOR YOU! TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!”
WE DO THIS TO HONOR JESUS WITH OUR WORKS AND TO GIVE HIM GLORY FOR WHAT HE HAS DONE!
WHAT ARE YOU BRINGING TO JESUS ON THE DAY YOU STAND BEFORE HIM!
HE IS WORTHY!! OF ALL OUR WORKS AND HONOR!!
SO, WHAT ARE YOU SCARED OF?
Romans 8:38–39 NKJV
38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, 39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
