Jesus is God
Introduction about the Book of John:
如果你只能读一本圣经的书，我推荐你读约翰福音
很多人有不同的原因看圣经，有的人想要智慧，有的人想要找到他们生命的目的
虽然圣经中有这些东西，但并不是圣经的要点
如果你看圣经要找到这些东西，你可能会不明白圣经的目的
这是为什么有这个人，名叫约翰，写这本书
他有一个目的：告诉我们耶稣基督是神
John writes of one thing: how Jesus is God
但记这些事要叫你们信耶稣是基督，是 神的儿子，并且叫你们信了他，就可以因他的名得生命。
基督教不是这么生活的想法，也不是生活的规则。
基督教不是怎么找到智慧或者得到意义的蟆生命
基督教的中心是相信耶稣基督是神
正是出于这种信念我们才活着
这是非常非常重要，因为你对耶稣基督的信仰决定了你死后会发生什么。

It is so important because what you believe about Jesus, determines what happens to you after you die

太初有道，道与 神同在，道就是 神。这道太初与 神同在。万物是借着他造的；凡被造的，没有一样不是借着他造的。生命在他里头，这生命就是人的光。光照在黑暗里，黑暗却不接受光。
生用一个有点儿奇怪的词，叫耶稣基督道
The Bible uses and peculiar phrase here in calling Jesus The Word
在每个文化中，在每个时代中，都有一个想法
这个想法是在什么的背后，都有一些东西或者某人
在中国也有，管这个想法叫道
在我们心里，我们都知道在什么的背后，有一些东西或者某人；不可能一无所有
We all know there is something or someone behind everything; We didn’t get everything from nothing
在什么的背后不是一些东西，而是耶稣基督
用英文的时候，这个经文不用道，用说话
有好的原因：你要知道一个人，听他们说的话
生气的人用生气的话，欺负人的人用欺负的话
如果你要知道甚是什么样的，你能看到耶稣基督
Angry people use angry words; Hurtful people use hurtful words – you learn almost everything you need to know about someone from their words
不是因为他是很好的列子，而是耶稣是在世界上的神
Everything you would want to know about God is found in Jesus Christ, It isn’t because he merely reflected or was the example of God as a man but that He was God Himself on earth
除了神告诉我们他是什么样的，我们不能了解他
如果你要知道甚存在，只需要四处看看
如果你要了解甚是什么样的，应该看耶稣基督
耶稣是永恒的
太初有道，道与 神同在，道就是 神。这道太初与 神同在。
Eternal means without beginning or end; lasting forever; always existing; In other words, Jesus has no beginning, He has always existed
永恒的意思是没有开始，也没有结束，你可以说：耶稣没有开始，也没有结束，他一直存在
父啊，现在求你使我同你享荣耀，就是未有世界以先，我同你所有的荣耀。
因为耶稣基督是神，所以我们能用九月的经文告诉我们耶稣基督是什么样的
Jesus said to them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am." –
诸山未曾生出，
地与世界你未曾造成，
从亘古到永远，你是 神。
And now, Father, glorify me in your own presence with the glory that I had with you before the world existed.
We can apply Old Testament verses about God to Jesus because Jesus is God:
Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever you had formed the earth and the world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God. –
I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.
我们的宇宙以前，也斯已经存在了，耶稣不是被创造的
在圣经中，不可以有不同的想法
圣经有两个开始：
起初， 神创造天地。
太初有道，道与 神同在，道就是 神。
In the beginning was the Word
圣经告诉我们这个真理：开始的时候以前，神已经存在了
The Bible gives us one line of thought: Before there was a beginning there was God
没有两个开始，比如有一个开始，上帝创造了耶稣，然后耶稣有别的开始，耶稣基督已经存在了，他是永恒的
上帝必须超越自然和时间而存在，如果有什么比上帝更有能力，上帝不是神
因此如果耶稣基督是神，他一定是永恒的
God has to exist outside of nature and outside of time; if something is greater than God, more powerful then God isn’t God
So in order that Jesus be God, He must be eternal
So in order that Jesus be God, He must be eternal
这是很难理解，因为我们是有限
Jesus is Creator
In order that Jesus be God, He must be CreatorGod doesn’t make gods, He didn’t make a machine to make something, Jesus already existedJesus is uncreated because He is eternalHe is the Creator because He made everything!Jesus made everything: For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him. :16In order to create everything, he had to be here before everything!No one can truly create anything from nothing… unless you are GodWhen I say He made everything, it means He made everything – the earth, stars, moon, animals, trees, water, and even youBeing Creator means He has authority over everything He has createdThat all means He has the authority over youCountries and authorityIn English we call this jurisdictionWe are all under God’s jurisdiction This means that we are accountable to Him for everything thing we think and doWe can think we can live our lives however we want to and the truth is that you can, but one day you will have to stand before your creator to be judgedWhy is that? That is answered more fully in the last point about Jesus
Jesus is the Giver of Life
We can say that Jesus made everything like rocks and dirt. This earth, the sun, the moon and stars but none of those things have lifeJesus not only made all those things, He made life
Then the LORD God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature. –
I can go home and get some clay and make a statue of a man (though not a good one)I can’t give it lifeJesus is not only the Creator but He is the one Who gives lifeNot only did God create you, but He gave you life but what have you done with it?Like everyone else, you rebelYou live your life without a single thought about GodHe has given you rules to keep like do not lie, do not steal, do not hate, obey your parents, do not covet but you have broken them (like everyone else)You have taken the life and breath He has given you and you have used it all on yourselfHe not only gives us physical life but spiritual life
Conclusion:
If you have placed your faith in Christ, your life is not your own to be lived how you pleaseEvery decision, every day should be lived in light that Christ owns you, He is LordWe must value Christ above everything else!Our lives are not about money, marriage, jobs, education: it’s about ChristEverything about us should be defined by JesusThis is not your life, it was given to youThe sad truth, our lives differ very little from those who are not ChristiansWe live, act and breathe with little or no thought as to what He wants us to doChrist gave His life to give you lifeBecause we have broken God’s law, we deserve a death sentenceThat is the price of our sinProgression of sin against the offended partyJesus did not only come to this world to show and to teach us about GodHe came to die on the crossHis death paid our penalty, He rose again on the third dayYou can be as good as you want to but it won’t help youThe only solution for your sin is JesusTurn from your sins, repent. Admit to God that you have sinnedPlace your trust in JesusStealing and crashing into a house
