(KJV 1900):
Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. 2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
(KJV 1900):
But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.
Bring leaders to alter area.
Like everything else in life, the Bible has a formula for every situation...
It is even more apparent that God has a special formula for growing the church.
In we have the formula for a good family.
God - Jesus - Dad - Mom - Children
It is the same in God’s spiritual family.
The church is the Bride of Christ
Jesus - Church - Chidren
We are Mom and Dad’s children
Another way to look at this is from a local church perspective
Pastor - father
Local church - mother
You - children of the marriage of the Pastor to the local church
Shepherd and Flock is also used.
In the Family of God there is also a flow of authority and power.
Words Paul uses are elder, elder brother, elder sister
And in Paul’s teaching the elder is supposed to teach the younger.
NOTHING TO DO WITH AGE = MATURITY!
You men and women standing here today are the elder bothers and elder sisters of the local church family.
Your responsibility is to teach others!
Because it is here that you will grow to the next level!
