1. Heaven Provides Hope for the Searching.
The star led the magi to Herod.
Searching for the Messiah.
They assumed he would be in Herod’s palace.
The messiah would be a king.
Why did they come?
“To Worship” The star appeared and “led” them.

I cannot fully explain the depth of God’s love or why I’m allowed to have a relationship with Him.
But, I can tell you that His love is available to those who search for it.
When we allow God to be involved in our story, we are led down a path that bring us to fulfillment.
2. Heaven Causes the Earth to Stumble.
Herod had no intention to worship Jesus.
He his behind religious leaders to promote his own agenda.
The good news of Jesus Christ brought Herod great worry.

The temptation of personal agenda is there for all of us.
God has a sovereign word and plan for the world.
Our personal feeling and pride will keep us from understanding.
You don’t want to be the reason that you missed a holy moment.
3. Heaven on Earth is Experienced in Worship.
Gold - Royalty (precious metal), Frankincense - Divinity (gum resin, ground, trees of Arabia & East Africa) Myrrh - Sufferings (crushed gum resin for incense)

The biggest obstacle you and I face is “misplaced” worship.
We pick and choose who, what, when, where, and why we worship instead of letting God lead us.
When you get out of your own way, you can understand true worship.
