Galatians 4:9–11 CSB
But now, since you know God, or rather have become known by God, how can you turn back again to the weak and worthless elements? Do you want to be enslaved to them all over again? You are observing special days, months, seasons, and years. I am fearful for you, that perhaps my labor for you has been wasted.
Often times as Christians we get saved and have a period of time where we are on fire for God. but then we slowly die out and the fire goes out.
That is what Paul is speaking about here the Galatians were excited to receive Jesus and had the fire to serve God.
Now they are turning back to there ways for they have fear that God has turned his back on them again.
See they were used to the old testament where God was upset and would punished them for not Turning from their sinful ways.

Are You On Fire

First off what does it mean to be on fire for God? Being on fire is not the literally meaning of lighting yourself on fire. It is more in the sense that you have that burning desire to serve God and to do everything you can to serve him and live for him.
See the Galatians were on fire when they first started the church and they were Excited to learn the teaching from Paul and had that desire to to teach it to everyone.
When they stop looking to God for answers they started to to fizzle out. Just like a Fire when it is not feed the flames slowly start to die and till it fizzles out.

Have you lose the Fire

See there is a bunch of things that cause us to lose the fire when it comes to serving God.
Ex) Depression
Parents at home
Loss of a friend.
Drugs
Alcohol
Unexpected Pregnancy
Has your fire burned out? At times we chose to turn away from God. Rather that Look to God. See Paul saw this with the Galatians they had started to lose their fire and started to turn away so much that Paul asked them out plainly did I waste my time with you.
How do we Get that Fire Back after we lost it? It starts with us.
