I have been a huge football fan as long as I can remember
And as a fan, I simply enjoy watching football
any and all football
Which makes every Super Bowl Sunday a win in my book
I remember the first Super Bowl I watched was Super Bowl 33 with my Dad and Uncles and Grandpa at my Grandpas house
The Broncos beat the Falcons
But as you can all see, I am a Kansas City Chiefs fan
I have been since 2003
So even though every Super Bowl is a win simply because I enjoy football
Tonight’s Super Bowl is a win-win for me because the Chiefs are playing in it!
And as much as getting to watch tonight’s Super Bowl is a win-win in my book
It pales in comparison to the win-win the Apostle Paul talks about in ;
For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.
Paul says if he lives, He gets Christ, win!
And if He dies, He gets more Christ, win!
Therefore, it is a win-win either way
This is the mindset demonstrated by three faithful followers of God
Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah
Who we saw taken as captives in 605BC in
where there names were changed to Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego
Or as we see them on Veggie Tales, Rach, Shach, and Benny
This morning we are going to see them fear less in
Instead, displaying more courage
is the last we see of these three in Daniel
And we will see them go out in a literal blaze of glory

These passages define the kind of men these men are
men who are sold out for God’s glory
They type of men we need to be in the church today
But sadly, these type of men seem to be dwindling in churches
