Help I Can’t See!

Many of us can’t fathom being born blind. Some of us have been born blind physically, while all of us have been born blind spiritually. We looked at the eye gate a few weeks ago from the dynamics of distractions and how if we are not careful it can cost us everything, but this time we are going to approach it by growing in our faith, and how we all need our sights adjusted as we mature in the Word of God and our everyday living. Regardless of what we see naturally it should never be what it is seen by our spiritual eye. Our spiritual lenses should govern outcome, not the circumstance presently encountered.
We are going to discuss the dynamic of the two blind men found in Mark and John. If you notice in the scripture this is the second encounter in which Jesus heals a blind man . This man was led to his place of healing, while in the other was “sent” away to get healed. Why is that? There are times when God needs us to experience “life” ( make the point to bring an awareness of what both represent and mixed together the compound it creates that the dirt and his saliva is a representation of His grace. He combined dirt and His “water” to establish a healing salve of grace to meet this blind mans needs) to hit you where as in another you may have experienced life so much that God just meets you right where you are. You see there are some people like those in chapter 9 where God is only good enough by way of an encounter.
*Chapter 9 speaks of something that is a great observation..... “when it is night no man can work....” I need to make a notion to this scripture:
If we are worried about the night, why be light? The text is clear you can’t work if you are dead, so while you are alive and shining, get to work.

If They Can’t Receive Your New Sight (New Look on Life), It’s Because They Are Blind Themselves!

The problem with many of us is that when God does it we feel like we need to tell somebody. That is not always the case for this man here, he could not go back to Bethsaida because Jesus had cursed this place so they didn’t need to see any more, for they lacked belief in Him. So it brings me to another point,” Don’t look for applause by a place that never fosters production and Godly growth.
You have those in further down in the text, and just think God will only move the way Moses was received by God, and here in you are seeing an authentic display of a familiar act, but more intimately displayed. You see Jesus removed the man from the city, this was similar to a Sodom situation where the blind man was like Lot and Jesus had to get him out of there to perform this miracle. After he healed him He told him,” Do not go back.”
Don’t be afraid to a fresh start with your new life. One of the greatest misconceptions is that now that I have this new outlook on life that it now fits every situation that you need to use it every time you come into contact with somebody. That is false. The Bible says that,” all things are lawful, but not expedient.” ()
Everybody is not going to celebrate you Jesus knew that from the last miracle he performed, you see there he had an account of the things that he had done and the responses of the people, so he knew that this would not be that big of a deal to people that already didn’t believe in Him already, and in John it was an actual miracle.
Always remember that Jesus is not there for them, when He is there for you! We are always trying to pull people in, and just like Abraham God gave the instruction for him and his house, not him and his nephew.... So enjoy this place of transformation or restoration. For some of us it is a new norm and for some of us it is a reset, a realignment, and a restoration.

I Am Seeing Double!

The reasoning many of us are having problems with seeing is because we allow our faith to shrink and get so stuck with the facts of our reality that:
My Eviction Notice just came in the mail and they are giving me 7 days to come up with 3150, or else I am out on the street.
My bill of 1000 dollars in due, and they just sent me a disconnect letter in the mail and I don’t get paid for another 3 weeks.
My car is broke down and my mechanic just told me it is going to cost me 2400 to get it fixed.
Kids keep getting sick, and seems like things are just too much to bare.
Here is a thought? How did he know what trees looked like? I get that he could have been taught what trees were supposed to look like but how did he know what trees looked like? See this further solidifies my contrast of these two blind men situations. One had not experienced life and had to be sent (Siloam) while the other had already gone through enough of life (and was led by the hand), so much that it cost him his natural sight. Back then you could lose sight because of sinful nature, so Jesus had to see that this man had enough sense to want to change for good, or he would have never taken him out of this God-forsaken place of Bethsaida. So this could leads us to believe that he once had sight, unlike the man in .
What separates us at times is that we are not operating in faith enough to see the need for our faith sights need to be made nearer than farther for us. In order for us to have 20/15 vision we need to be able to know when we can not see (assess) a situation soberly enough. This takes a dilation of our spiritual pupils, our natural pupil should never overpower our spiritual ones.
Notice it said that his sight was RESTORED (), so it was not technically a miracle in Jesus eyes because he knew at one point this man could see unlike the other who was born blind. He must have found him some things to get into over in that town, which means that there are time when we will step out into places that will cause us to encounter temporary blindness and will need restoration some time now or in the future, notice what Jesus said,” do not even enter the village.” Which could mean 1 of 2 things:
1. Jesus learned from the last situation where the man he perform the miracle of curing his blindness and the mans testimony still fell on deaf ears to a spiritually blind people because of their old religious ways.
or
2. He knew the man had been there before and that is where he became blind to begin with.
Jesus didn’t need dirt for the blind man, he was dirty (sinful) enough, that is why he just used HIS SPIT, and HIS HANDS.

How do we allow God to correct our lenses?

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” (It is imposssible to do anything assertive timid, or unsure).
For GOD has not given us the spirit of fear, but of *power love, and self-control. (You will never have power over something that you do not command control over).
whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be ours. (You cannot pray and worry over something and expect change, it will not happen. It is like turning the lights on while unscrewing the lightbulb out of the lamp and complaining about it being dark. You will never see with activity like this).
Every word of God is true; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him. (If I don’t feel safe it’s because I am trying to protect myself and I am not hiding in the One who can fix my problems.).
: The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exalts, and with my song I give thanks to him. (Instead of worrying SING! So what if you can’t sing, sing a song of victory until that cloudy thing of opposition becomes a beautiful statue of God’s victory).
Cast your burdens on the Lord, and He will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved. (If it is moving you, then you be must in uncharted territories that God never intended.
I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me. (If it is wearing you out, then it is because you should’ve dropped it the moment you started trying to fix it).
Those who sow in tears shall reap with shouts of Joy!

What Do You See Now?

What needs to happen with this new found “sight”? The eye gates should now be clear and you should now feel the strength and the importance of having this part of you developed fully in God. When you are able to see naturally you don’t trip when life happens, why, because you know the end of its expectancy through your sight in the Spirit. It will only last as long as you look at it with your natural eyes and not your spiritual ones.
I am not telling you to gouge your natural eyes out and pray God gives you a new set of eyes. You have to understand that the Bible says,” In this flesh dwells no good thing....” in . The most uncanny thing about this gatekeeper series is that we have to come to the conclusion that our entire being NEEDS God.
Every gate needs an eviction of ourselves, we (flesh) will try to find any and every way possible to gain equity within us that can try to squeeze God out. We have have cast out that conception of thought with the understanding that I am fully and thoroughly submitted under Holy Spirit. We can no longer be DOUBLE in our thinking, DOUBLE in hearing, DOUBLE in our speech, DOUBLE in our heart, DOUBLE in our sight, and DOUBLE in our souls feeling being pulled in opposing directions.
God will always ask us,” Do you see anything?” When things arise, do you know what you should be your response,” I only see my God working it out for my good, and if I created this situation I will repent now and go through the dilating process so that I don’t stumble over this place again.”

Final Thought

As we have gone through the last 7 weeks of our gates, understand and know this that the areas that do not line up with the Word of God, it is our responsibility to have God enter. Without hesitation! My prayer is that we would take on the consciousness of the great prophet Rafiki and “Look beyond what we see....” That line right there gets me every time because in that moment he was so inundated with getting Simba to remember who he was. There are times when we can either use the pain of our past blindness to cripple us, or use it to push us forward. (Rafiki taking the staff and hitting him on the head and saying,” it doesn’t matter....,” and then he tells him it was in the past...” and Simba says,” but it hurt...” Rafiki then responds and says,” the past can hurt, but you can either run from it, or learn from it.”
Simba had to make a decision he had to return home back to his rightful place even though he didn’t see him being worthy of where and what he was born in. Just because may been blinded by life, it doesn’t mean that we have to stay underprivileged and deprived forever. We are a big deal to God and He needs us to always know that what we see needs to be what He knows, and what He knows we should only see!
I can see clearly now that my sight is gone, and there are no obstacles in my way, It is now a bright SON SHINING DAY and LIFE!!!
