john 10:9-10
9 “I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.
10 “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.
10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.
Jesus makes quite the distinction between His work anf that of the enemry
he says in verse 7
john 10:7
7 So Jesus said to them again, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep.
I am the door the access piont. the way in. into what? salvation
8 “All who came before Me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not hear them.
All other who proclaimed saftey and salvation.
9 “I am the door; if anyone enters through Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture.
Noctice what the desire of the thief is. to stop us from entering into the door.
how does he do that?
by stealing, killing, and destroying.
but God always has an answer..
if trouble come, thank God because He has also come.

sickness is going to come and when it comes remind your self that there is a door..
Jesus has come to give life and life more abundantly.
13 No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.

often times we focus so on the fact that the devil has come...
